Fabulous trip - Fabulous trip, the weather was a little bit rough but it was fine. We saw 2 females and their calf’s. The boat managed to track them but not getting too close. The guide was very knowledgeable and she was happily to take questions. We had missed our original planned trip due to traffic jam, so make sure you get there in plenty of time, but they were very helpful and rearranged. We would definitely recommend them

If you need professional guide - Our guide is so professional that she could read all the little signs and know where the whales are and which among them is likely to be active and curious to get close to us. Also learning a whole lot about the humpback whales. They are friendly animals!

Quick but action packed trip. - Great small-ish boat - big enough to feel safe on the sea but small enough not to be in a huge crowd. Very helpful & knowledgable crew happy to answer all questions. Good concern for the wildlife. We only had a half day before our flight out & it was perfect to fit in the 3hr trip in the morning.

Whale of an Experience - The crew was knowledgeable, friendly and did a great job of putting us on active whales. We saw numerous moms and calves playing, tail slapping and breaching. Highly recommended excursion.

Amazing crew & few opportunities for management team - My mum and I really enjoyed the tour. We got to see 3 male whales, that were playing with each other. There were 2 team members on board, the captain and the tour guide. Both team members were very knowledgeable. The captain was very quick to stir the ship in the direction of the whales, the tour guide shared a lot of information about the whales all throughout the tour, and she even climbed on the top deck to have a better view of spotting the whales - true dedication to her job! A++ to both of them! :) However, I would like to point out below the weak spots of management. Firstly, it was not very clearly identifiable and understandable where the boat will park. Barangaroo avenue 1A is not clearly marked anywhere physically. Secondly, due to the nature of the pick-up point, the management team is not allowed to put up any signs of their own - too bad. Cost cutting leads to literally zero exposure to the public (a lot of tourists on the avenue) and confusion from existing one-time customers. I would suggest the management team to find a proper spot for embarking/disembarking that can be very visible to everybody. Thirdly and lastly, the name of the company "whale tales" is not mentioned anywhere on the boat or the crew uniform. So, even if you see a boat approaching the coast, you cannot understand whether it is the boat you are looking for or not :) I would suggest either changing the name of the boat, or at least adding the name of the company somewhere onto the boat.

Choose a sunny day - Very nice and friendly crew. Although we cannot blame the business for that, but we can only see the whales at far and not as shown in the advertisements. Well, but this is nature, and they cannot be accounted for it.
