My wife and I had our Tour Guide, Caleb, alone for four hours. All stops were reserved. It was awesome!!! - My wife of 26 years and I celebrated our renewal of vows and I surprised my wife with a five day stay in Bar Harbor. We started our vacation out with the 4 hour private Acadia National Park Tour. We could not have had a better start to our time in Maine. Our tour guide, Caleb, was absolutely wonderful... he was very, very knowledgeable about the local facts and history! The tour was our favorite thing of the entire five days! I would recommend this trip to anyone that reads this review! You will not be dissatisfied. Kennan and Kristi Crothers

Excellent private 4 hour tour with friendly knowledgeable driver and guide - Our tour guide Bill picked our party of 3 up at the Holiday Inn Resort. Bill's knowledge of local history and lore was amazing. On the day of our tour the fog was quite thick for about the first hour, but Bill had a digital notebook with beautiful pictures that assisted us with what the fog covered. My wife and I had been to Bar Harbor, in July of 1976 on our Honey Moon, and Bill expertly explained to us many of the changes that occurred to the Park and surrounding area since he took up residence in Bass Harbor quite some years ago. I am disabled with a Neuromuscular disease and Bill was very accommodating with my Electric Wheelchair (60LBS) which he placed in the cargo area of the van. My advice to anyone is that you should TAKE THIS EXCELLENT TOUR and if your lucky you may get Bill as your guide.

This private tour was a highlight on our New England cruise - We were undecided if we would rent a vehicle and attempt to see Acadia Nat'l Park and area on our own or hire a driver. This was our second last cruise port and heard so much about the beauty of Acadia, so we decided to hire a private driver and see if through the eyes of a local. "Bill" was our driver and guide, a local who knew the history inside out, added humor throughout, and gave an excellent tour. Bill also had treats for us - Bar Harbor blueberry soda, bottled water and assorted crackers - which was unexpected by greatly appreciated. This was a 4 hour tour which gave us plenty of time to catch lunch and see more of Bar Harbor townsite. Bill made this tour interesting and highly recommend this tour! You won't be disappointed.

Premier Private Tour of Acadia National Park! This tour is a must! - Five Star Review - which is largely contributed to our private driver, "Bill", who is a local and knows his history and events regarding Bar Harbor and the beautiful Acadia National Park. The four of us considered renting a vehicle to drive to Cadillac Mountain but glad we did not as we would have missed out on the history and background. There were plenty of stops along the way. Extra treats for our ride, compliments of Bill, included Blueberry soda (made in Maine), bottled water and a variety of cracker snacks. This was totally unexpected but much appreciated. We highly recommend this guided, private tour, and, if you have a chance, ask for Bill! You won't be disappointed!

A great tour of Acadia - Take this tour ! Bill was an outstanding guide- so much information, accommodating every minute, and making each stop a memorable experience. The private tour of Acadia is a wonderful way to enjoy the park, as we would have never found these stops on our own. Bill’s knowledge and explanation of the history made it all the better. What a great day !

Great tour - Our group of 4 had a spectacular 4 hour tour with Bill Thurstan, a lifelong resident of Maine. His humor and extensive knowledge of the area were both entertaining and enlightening. The views were amazing. We highly recommend.
