A Day with Caleb - I signed up for a 6 hour solo trip and ended up being greeted by Caleb at 9 AM. The day went quickly and he wanted to make sure I experienced Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, and Mount Desert Island. He gave me a good amount of time to take in the views and explore areas of interest. He also would give sound advice on what trails to explore and how to prepare yourself on the more difficult ones. Caleb knows the backroads and the best places to eat. Born and raised ti net area makes him an ideal guide for exploring the island. Also, he is well versed on the island's history.

Kathy, was an excellent... - Kathy, was an excellent and knowledgeable guide. This tour was our second with At Your Service Tours. Both very memorable. Thank you Claire and Kathy.

Worth the premium. - We wanted to maximize our experience not on a cruise tour bus. So we scheduled this private tour with Paul. He did a marvelous job showing us everything on our pace and had incredible knowledge of the history and culture. Excellent experience. So much better than the traditional “bus tour”. Well worth the premium.

A fun time - We had a great time with Bill our tour guide. He was articulate and funny and his commentary was very informative. He answered all of our questions, had great local stories and stopped at several spots when we asked him to. He also took us to a great place for lunch, delicious! We would highly recommend him on a tour!

Tour Acadia park on a rainy day! - This tour was amazing! Our guide, Caleb, was knowledgeable and fun. It rained, so some of the views were obscured, but the rain also caused some fantastic views. For example. Thunder hole had huge crashing waves, and we saw waterfalls over the pink granite walls on Cadillac mountain. We also saw lots of dear, fawns frolicking with their parents in the puddles after the rain. The food was great at the lobster pound and there was a great view of the boats during lunch too. I would definitely book another tour with this company! Caleb knew just what to show us, at what time, and even knew where to park, which can be a challenge in this area.

Great day in Acadia National Park. - My husband and I took a 6 hour tour today with Bill Thursten through Acadia National Park and the surrounding area. We found Bill to be very informative and he was able to answer any and all questions we had. He stopped at a wonderful restaurant for lunch where we sat outside and ate enjoying the food and the sunshine. We are Maine natives and learned so much about our home state. Bill was an excellent guide and person to spend a day with. Experience always shows.

Outstanding Bar Harbor Tour Experience - We had a wonderful tour experience with Pete at At Your Service Tours. We originally signed up for the 3 hour tour and wound up extending to the 6 hour as we found the tour an outstanding experience. Pete provided thoughtful history of key landmarks including Arcadia and Cadillac Mountain and provided the perfect balance of touring along side us as well as providing time where we could explore on our own with some direction. We also had a fun and delicious experience at Beal’s Lobster Pier for lunch. Extending our trip was easy through Claire and we thank Pete for providing a memorable experience.

We couldn’t have had a better day - After dropping our daughter off at college for her freshman year we realized we’d neglected our 15 year old son in the process. With a week left before the start of his school year, I quickly planned a trip to Acadia National Forest. Luckily, I found the positive AYS reviews almost immediately and went ahead and booked the 6-hour package. Every so often the universe is kind and on the day of our tour we were picked up by Pete, our tour guide. Pete, called me 30 minutes before the scheduled pickup time to introduce himself and let us know he would be early and had drinks and snacks available. I don’t believe we could have had a better day. We have never been to Acadia and now have a place that we will forever think fondly about and spread the word. Pete gave my son and I a day to remember. For anyone wondering if they should do the 3 or 6 hour tour, if you’re lucky enough to get Pete, 6 hours will blow by and you’ll be left wondering about everything you would have missed on the 3-hour tour. Thanks AYS for running a professional operation and representing this beautiful place as it deserves to be represented.
