This is the perfect escape if you prefer solitude, and residing in a national park hostel promises a unique experience. Join the park ranger in tracking down turtles coming ashore to deposit their eggs, and explore the green turtle hatchery on the spot. The turtle tracking begins at 7:00 p.m., with participants following the ranger to the sea. Early morning sees the return of turtle hatchlings to the sea – a momentous event to behold as the babies instinctively navigate their way to water, to be finally swept away by the waiting waves.
