Poor experience due to poor preparation - Ascent to the Carihuairazo. Information on the climb and equipment in advance was poor. The rented equipment was incomplete, the check of it in the office was only superficial because on departure there was a party there with alcohol. I canceled the climb on my own because I did not feel safe up there in the dark and cold. The problems were partly due to communication difficulties, but I think it is the duty of a mountain guide to ensure in advance that everyone is well informed and the equipment is sufficient and complete.
