Bank Heist Escape Game in Sioux Falls

We were not informed that we would be paired with strangers- not is it clear on your website. We planned to play as a family and with a family who has one with anxiety with learning disabilities, this was not conducive. Had I been aware of a certain number of participants required we would have figured something else out. Jennifer

A few things... (1) Our "hostess" was less than ready for her role. She started off with telling us that she wasn't all there as she'd woken up less than an hour ago (I don't care, I made it on time, and this is your job). She spoke so quickly that it was hard for us to follow, when she was done speaking about a rule she'd look at us with a demeaning look and ask if we "got it". Yes, you said it over 5 times to get it right, and even though you did speak really fast, I got that something should not be moved if it says do not disturb. She had to look at her post-it note repeatedly to get through the instructions. She did not make us feel welcome, excited, or as if we were valued customers. (1.5) Our hostess didn't overview the following, but someone else - not sure what her role was, but I'd suggest that there is a better way to give us basic information - use the bathroom, put your purse/phones in your car or our lockers - we were given each of these pieces of information one at a time, instead of as an overview or a poster / notice in the waiting area. It just seemed inefficient and tiresome as we were slowly fed little pieces of information (2) I believe one of our locks was inadvertently left unlocked, which led us to find it earlier than needed which provided us with clues we didn't know how to use. The wall safe is very particular, and we spent a lot of time getting it just right to open. We knew the combination, but honestly wasted a ton of time getting it just right. If a safe is that hard, maybe it isn't the best quality. (3) I don't mind being paired with others, but when paired with others who are under 18 and not in the presence of an adult, I did feel like I was left "in charge" instead of being able to just participate. Luckily for us the kids were really respectful and nice, but without an adult with them it was still up to those of us adults in my party to negotiate who got to do what and when - not what I was looking to do. (4) when I called to inquire about age appropriateness, I was told this room was good for the ages of my kids (10/15). I found it to be way harder than the other rooms we've done with them, and they were frustrated that many of the tasks were above what they could figure out. I would have picked another activity or room had I known it would be this hard. I didn't rely on online information, but called ahead, so was disappointed when it was as challenging as it was. I've done multiple escape rooms in multiple cities and this was by far the worst experience I've had from beginning to end.
