Join us for a memorable journey to the summit of Mount Batur in Bali, where you can witness a magnificent sunrise from the peak of an active volcano.
Here is the plan:
- From 01:30 to 03:00 am: We will pick you up from your accommodation in Bali
- At 03:45 am: We reach the starting point and our experienced hiking guides will give an overview and safety briefing
- At 04.09 am: Our guide will lead you in a 90-minute trek to reach the summit just in time for the sunrise
- At 06:00 am: Enjoy a warm cup of tea or coffee served by our guide as you marvel at the breathtaking sunrise
- At 07:00 am: From the summit, you can choose to head straight to the car park OR take a tour with our guide around the rim to explore the second crater (erupted in 1926), the third crater (erupted in 1963), and the newest crater (erupted in 1974 and 1994)
- At 09:00 am: We will reach back at the base
- At 09:20 am: Indulge in a breakfast at a restaurant overlooking the lake and Mount Batur
- Between 11:00 am and 01:00 pm: Expected time of return to your hotel
- Children 4-years and under are free with accompanied of an adult

This one is a must! - My sunrise trek to Mount Batur in Bali was truly an unforgettable experience. The day started with a smooth and comfortable ride to the trekking site — the driver, Putu Pande was punctual, friendly, and drove really well, making the early morning journey stress-free.
Once at the base, the guide, Wuyung immediately stood out for being incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. He not only set a perfect pace for the hike but also made sure I reached the summit just in time to enjoy the breathtaking sunrise away from the main crowd, which made the moment feel peaceful and personal.
After soaking in the stunning views, he led me down the mountain through a different route, turning the descent into a mini-adventure of its own. The path was exciting and scenic — a completely different perspective of the mountain.
To top it off, the breakfast afterward was delicious, and the view from the restaurant was absolutely amazing — the perfect way to end the trek.
I highly recommend this sunrise trek to Mount Batur for anyone visiting Bali. It’s well organized, the guides are fantastic, and the experience is simply magical.

Worth the early morning pick up!!!! - My son, his girlfriend and I had the most amazing experience on our trip with Putu Anton picking us up and Nata was our Jeep tour guide. Highly recommend booking this tour for an unforgettable experience with a personal touch, and a personal photographer (Nata) 🥰

The best experience - Wayan Budiawan was an amazing guide! He even carried our bag and took great pictures. It was such a wonderful experience — everyone was so sweet, and they even surprised me with a birthday cake during breakfast!

Great hike at sunrise - Thank you for an amazing hike with our guide Wayan Budiawan and driver Putu Pande. They took care of everything and it went smoothly. Wayan brought us up the mountain at our own pace while sharing his local knowledge and found us the best spot at the top, as well as took our pictures. Everyone is very friendly and the tour was just as advertised. Would recommend!

Great! - A great experience! The guide Jero is super friendly and constantly checks on you. The hike is manageable, though the paths are narrow and sometimes slippery, so good shoes and layered clothing are essential.

FULLY RECOMMENDED. I EXCEED MY EXPECTATIONS - exceeded my expectations. The communication was very good and in advance they contacted me to confirm and give me details of the driver. I did the private tour with breakfast. They come to get you, they take you to the center of the park and there you are a guide who does the trekking with you to the top. The super attentive guide as he saw that we followed the pace well, pulled forward and took us along the trail with fewer people, which was also more complicated. He explained and gave us details and took pictures at the top. The sunrise, if you catch a good day is spectacular and curious to see everything that is mounted up there. The descent through the forest is also very cool. It’s not a complicated trek but something fit you have to be, you do it at night, only illuminated with a front and sometimes the ground slips. You climb a gradient of almost 900m. If you are fit I recommend a private guide to go at your own pace and not have to stop at the pace of a group as we saw along the way. After breakfast is very rich and in a place with heart attack views that just crowned the experience of the day, highly recommended

Beautiful sunrise tour to Mount Batur:)) - It was a very nice tour with breathtaking sunrise. our driver Putu Pande was punctual, super friendly and answered all of us questions. Our guide Dono was also very friendly and took great photos. Can only recommend....

Mount Batur Sunrise Trek – A Must Do - The Mount Batur sunrise trek was an amazing experience. If you get tired on the way up, you can hop on a dirt bike that takes you almost to the top — you’ll still need to walk the last 10 minutes. Breakfast isn’t much — just two boiled eggs and some white bread — so it’s better to bring your own food. The hike isn’t too difficult, but proper clothes and good shoes make a big difference. Our guide Wayan Budiawan and driver Putu Anton were both excellent and made the whole trip even better. Definitely worth it.

Unforgettable experience - We first had some resistance to book the trip because we didn't want to get up so early (02:00 AM) during our vacation.
It was really 100% rewarding and it is an experience that will stay with us forever. Special thanks to our wonderful guide Wayan Budiawan and our good driver Gede Arya.
We recommend this tour 100% definitely. Even if you don't normally like hiking. It took an hour to go through, but it's fine.
