Downhill cycling - The tour was very well arranged! We received breakfast in the morning with a stunning view and visited a coffee/tea plantage. The cycle tour was very nice and only downhill, with many nice stops along the way. The bikes were in good condition. The tour guide was very nice and told us interesting stories. After that, we received an extensive lunch at a cute restaurant. The driver picked us up in Sanur right on time and dropped us off in Ubud! I would really recommend doing this tour, you will get a great view of the landscapes of Bali

Great value with beautiful scenery and informative tour guide - Breakfast was lovely. Downhill all the way. My 6 and 8 year old managed really well and guide was great with them ensuring a safe day. Visited a school and family home. Pick and drop off in Kuta - was a long day but amazing value. Would recommend !

Fantastic day out with a cultural touch - We did this trip with 3 families. Our children ranged in age from 8-17. The ride was easy for everyone, with the majority of the ride downhill. We stopped in at a school & a traditional Balinese family home. The food provided was excellent and our guides knowledge was also top class. Everyone enjoyed the day and we would recommend it to anyone staying in Bali.

On ya bike! - Any bike ride that starts and end with a meal and is punctuated with a coffee break is already a winner in my book. The fact that the the ride is pretty much downhill through some of the most amazing countryside you will ever see (and I live in NZ!) is the cream on top. The tour was amazing. Of all the things I did in Bali this remains my favourite memory. The guys running the tour are all friendly and very hospitable. The bikes were OK and we all had water to drink on our "arduous" journey downhill. The meal at the start was at a restaurant at the Mt Batur lookout. It was a buffet, but of limited options. That was fine because I hadn't expected it and had already eaten breakfast. The meal at the end of the tour was described in the literature as "sumptuous" and it was certainly that. Very nice. Thinking of doing a bike tour? Don't think. Do it.

Very fun way to see rural Bali - Ming was our guide and he was so lovely and charismatic. My friends and I loved this tour. - the coffee plantation was great as it included some tastings - we are Vegan so we removed the ones with milk/cream (we bought the cocao as it is extremely delicious). There is a swing here but it's not as big as some of the other jungle swings you can do in other places, but it was really cheap to do here and a bit of fun - we stopped at another area for a small breakfast which was really nice and catered for vegans (fried banana and rice) - The cylcing around the country side was fantastic and so easy as you're pretty much always holding onto the breaks as it's all downhill - visiting a temple was lovely as we used it as a pit stop to have a short break - visiting a Balinese house (very interesting) - lunch was amazing and catered very well for vegans (tofu and Tempe) Ming and the team were helpful, my friends bike had a problem with the wheel and they swapped it for another bike so easily. Would highly recommend this tour, all the food and sights you get to see are worth the affordable price.

Must do when in Bali - Family of 4 (kids 11 and 9) thought this tour was fabulous. To be able to see beyond the resorts, shopping and consumerism of the West coast. Mini bus collected us from our Hotel, first stop was coffee plantation which was interesting and delicious! There was also a forest swing there which the kids enjoyed! ( that was extra 150,000 😂) Then onto the rim of the crater of Mt Batur for morning tea and spectacular scenery. Then the all downhill on bikes on quiet road through villages, mandarin orchards and rice fields. Just gorgeous. Stopped at various points along the way including village temple, local residential home of an Indonesian family and rice paddies. Tour guide was your typical Balinese, friendly, funny and informative. We all loved the tour and would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Bali. 👍

Great fun, would recommend. - Friendly and informative guide. Amazing scenery. Good breakfast and lunch. Support vehicle with replacement bikes on hand. Pick up and drop off from accomodation in Ubud. Minimal fitness required, some narrow uneven paths.

Fantastic experience! - We went on this ride with our 14 and 17 yr old. We loved the scenery! The ride was almost all down hill. We stopped at a school and a traditional home. We loved seeing and understanding a little more about how the balinese live. Our guide was very informative. An awesome experience.

Not as good as they were. - The tour was a bit disappointing. I have used them before 6 years ago and they still seem to have the same bikes. Well organized great guide but a short ride compared to what I have done before. No cycling just hanging onto the brakes which is a bit hair raising on a old well worn bike. I won't ride with them again. Our guide was brilliant.

Bike ride downhill experience - I did the Bali Bintang Downhill Cycling 3 years ago. Last Friday my wife and i were promptly collected from our resort and taken to start of the ride. We were shocked, as were other members of our group at the poor quality of the bikes and helmets. I would not recommend this ride. The bikes were in such a shabby state. My wife's bike had no rear brakes. There was no tread on the tyres and there were bent wheels, and mechanically either a few or one gear only to choose from. Also broken seats/saddles. The bikes were dangerous. Also the helmets some of which were broken and many should never have been offered for use. The operator needs to upgrade and renew his equipment. Seems such a pity that the poor quality of the gear downgrades what is a great ride with wonderful scenery. Our tour guide was excellent..
