The excursion features a stop at the notorious bridge across the River Kwai, constructed by captured Allied soldiers during the Second World War. The itinerary also takes in a military graveyard, which is the final resting place of nearly 9,000 Allied troops who perished whilst laboring on the bridge and the dreaded -Death Railway-. The itinerary includes a visit to the JEATH Museum, where attendees will view a re-creation of a Japanese internment camp, followed by a rail journey along an impressive segment of the -Death Railway-. Upon reaching Wang Po station, near the boundary with Burma, a buffet lunch will be provided.
