Amazing Time - I booked this for my parents and they also had 2 other trips with Amazing Asia tours and had a brilliant experience and highly recommend them. Well looked after and delivered the complete package from pick up to drop off. Private tours and they would like to thank all the drivers and guides for making their first time to Thailand a special time. Thankyou 😊

Experience it - Too much packed into one 14 hour day. We skipped the waterfall & still did Not enough time to see the graveyard & Hellfire pass thoroughly. Should leave Bangkok at 6am. Mae did the best she could.

A perfect tour for British Commonwealth Tourists with an interest in the WWII history of the Death Railway - A fabulous day excursion which we would recommend to anyone, particularly to anyone with interest in the Second World War in the Far East. Our Driver and Guide were excellent; knowledgeable and helpful, and importantly always ready with cold water or a cooling towel when returning to the minibus. To travel some of the track laid by the allied servicemen and civilians was very moving, and gave spectacular views of the river and an insight into the hardships suffered during its build. The stop at the CWGC cemetery in Kanchanburi made one realise that the many who died on the railway were real people with families and regional contacts from all the many services, and regionally based regiments who fought in World War Two. The tour also gave us the opportunity to get out of the Bangkok bright lights and get a feel for the Thai countryside and its people. We would recommend though, one significant change to the itinerary. While the trip to the JEATH Museum was interesting (a reconstruction of an accommodation hut with many photos) it really should be replaced by a visit to theThailand-Burma Railway Centre, more commonly known as the 'Death Railway Museum and Research Centre', adjacent to the Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery in Kanchanburi which was part of the tour. This is a very well presented and informative museum with many more times the information and artefacts than the JEATH. We were lucky in that we were the only two on the trip and thus were allowed to briefly visit this Museum (at our own small expense) and contact with the curator who could tell us more of the personal history of my wife's father, who worked on the railway, absolutely made our entire holiday to Bangkok.

An Enduring History - The experience of seeing the conditions the POWs and enslaved peoples were subjected to. Hard to believe mankind can be so inhumane to his fellow man

Fully packed day of history and local culture - My guide Tanya was great along with my driver. She was super knowledgeable not only about the tour items but filled with local knowledge and interesting culture along the way. I learned a lot and had a great time. They put in a solid 12.5 hour day with all the traffic in and out of Bangkok. This is a very lengthy day tour. If you’re a history buff this is a must do. You’ll also see a good chunk of the beautiful countryside. Hellfire pass has a pretty sharp drop in elevation and hike back up so be advised wear good shoes and be prepared for a bit of a workout.

Excellent tour, our guide Ken looked after us - This was the best way to learn about and see Kanchanabury and the Burma railway, it was a long day around 12 hours, but being a private tour meant we were able to travel in comfort and not waste time. Our guide Ken was very friendly and informative, with good English. Also our driver Phayoon was good and got us there and back safely.

Very Disappointed!!!!!! - Very disappointing! Once in a lifetime trip for us! Guide could not understand or speak English properly. Nothing was explained to us along the way or at the destinations. We were rushed around. Could not even savour the moment on the bridge or anywhere else! Will definitely not recommend this tour! Not happy at all!
