Fantastic Day - We have had a wonderful day with Pache (sorry if misspelt) and her driver. A very long hot day (12 hours) but very interesting and definitely worthwhile, we loved learning about the history of this trip but also seeing the countryside once out of Bangkok. Pache was very attentive to our needs all day, even stopping for Starbucks breakfast :) pick up was prompt, nice clean cool vehicle, lots of water provided , and safe driving . Pache secured a train seat with the perfect view for us and the lunch provided was really lovely. We have really enjoyed today and thank our guide and driver for this. This private guided trip is a must do !

Fabulous private tour - Our guide was Tanya, all I can say is wow, she was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, we laughed from when she picked us up at 7am until we got back to the hotel at 6.30pm, it was a hot long day but it was an incredible day, the tour is def one you need to do, we did the private tour and it was the best way to do this as we could take our time or skip hits if we wanted to, highly recommend this tour group and if you can elect a tour guide please ask for Tanya

Very moving experience! - Great highlight tour of the Thai Burma railway experience espec for those interested in WW2 (Australian & Allies). The Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre & the walk to the memorial via the cutting provide excellent info (don't forget to take the audio info pack as this really contributes to the experience).

“Amazing Asia Tours” was awesome, took great care with us. “A” the tour guide and “Golf” the driver, safe,Knowledgeable. - The Company “Amazing Asia Tours” were wonderful. Our tour guide“A” was very knowledgeable. He stayed with us all the time, showing the history of River Kwai and Hellfire Pass. The whole tour was very thought provoking. One should read and watch articles of Hellfire Pass and the Japanese interment camps, to get the full scope of the tour. The visit to the Don Rak War Cemetery in Kanchanaburi is a place of reflection of the sacrifices, of those who were there. Places you will see and experience are gently placed into the tour, that only you can make judgment of those terrible years of the war. We were cared for, well fed and watered. And the driver “Gulf” was very knowledgeable of the area with safety in mind. The large Van was new and very clean. Thank you again.

Great experience - The tour was fantastic, everything ran reasonably smoothly despite a torrential downpour in the morning which caused some traffic delays. The lunch was good and our guide was attentive. It was a long day which was to be expected, make sure you take that into account when booking.

Your satisfaction may depend on the guide you get - This is a worthwhile trip to take though whether you feel it is worth the money will depend on the guide you get. I choose this trip based on a blog of someone who had a fantastic guide, named Prim. Our guide was not so good and should probably find a different line of work. He made no effort to connect with us. When we arrived at Kanchanaburi where you board the train, he dropped us at a coffee shop and said he was going to get breakfast. He didn’t bring water for us as stated in the description and blamed it on the van driver, we pushed him to buy us some. He didn’t really guide, basically bought us a ticket and pointed us in the direction of the attraction. Even though we had a terrible guide, it is a worthwhile trip, but know the history before you go. The buffet lunch was so-so. ( the experience of the blogger was totally different, nice touches like the guide took them to the train stop before the town so they could board and get better seats, they had a served lunch, their guide took them back to the bridge to experience the sunset). I had requested their guide but the request was not accommodated
