Underwater World, the most thrilling aquarium in Pattaya, brings deep-sea life to the surface through a series of displays, transporting you from the sandy shores to the shallow tide pools. It’s home to approximately 2,500 sea creatures from over 200 species found both regionally and internationally, including, sharks, sea otters, sting-ray, and the unusual hybrid, the shovelnose ray.
Your adventure starts at the ‘Touch Pool’ where you can touch the skin of bamboo sharks, sea cucumbers, turtles, blue-spotted rays, starfish, and lobsters. The reef tank then displays vibrant reefs, corals, and the important relationships between undersea plants, anemones, and fish. Afterwards, you walk through an underwater tunnel that takes you deep into the sea where you encounter sharks, rays, shovelnose rays, giant groupers, and an array of underwater predators and prey.
Besides the aquarium, the live feeding demonstrations are a great source of entertainment, particularly for kids.
