- STUDIO 1 Pilates n Movement - Reiki is an energy treatment. It treats the whole person, including body, emotions, mind and spirit. Reiki has its own intelligence and knows exactly where to go, what to do, and needs no “direction” from the practitioner. It puts the person treated in a “space” where many positive responses can occur, some of these are: calming and relaxation, feelings of peace and joy, relief from pain and inflammation, fatigue, insomnia, etc. Reiki can never do harm.
Reiki is a pure form of healing. The feeling of being connected directly to one’s high self, healing love, and protection is clearly apparent. This energy works to harmonize, or bring into balance, the total you: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
Reiki is for reducing stress, headaches, anxiety. It facilitates a sense of balance, serenity, well-being, relaxation, clarity, inner peace, and calm. It also helps release emotional blocks stalling creativity. One can gain focus, intention, and a sense of personal empowerment. The benefit is sustained as long as 3 months. Restore joy. Wallis, an expert practitioner trained in various complementary energy disciplines, brings her extensive knowledge and experience to every session she administers. She is a Reiki Master Teacher, having practiced since 2005.

Clients also have the option of adding a Reiki treatment for additional benefits. BioMats can be used without heat, or adjusted to heat levels between 94 and 158 degrees. Emitting negative ions and far infrared light, the benefits of the mats increase with the temperature. The mats promote an alkaline state in the body that can foster healing and provide relief from pain. Pilates, especially when performed with correct posture, execution, and alignment, can also contribute to alleviating pain. The BioMats are of medical grade as per FDA standards. They are products of Richway Fuji Bio International, a renowned medical equipment company.
