Studio1Pilates is the sole facility offering BioMat procedures, and the combination of this treatment with pilates sessions. Additionally, Reiki therapy is available for extra benefit. BioMats can be operated without heat or ranging temperatures of 94 to 158 degrees. These mats release negative ions and far-infrared light with increased benefits at higher temperatures. They help create an alkaline state in the body, support healing and provide temporary pain relief. Pilates, when performed with correct posture, proper technique, and alignment can aid this pain relief too. These mats, as per the FDA, are of medical grade.
