One of my favourite places to go - It was lovely, so clean it’s also incredibly cheap for food too. It’s cheaper to fly over there and have a spa day here then do a spa day in England 🫣 which is what me and my mum did. Highly recommend (I’ve heard it can be busy so definitely book in the quieter months) :)

Amazing spa - Spotlessly clean. An excellent range of facilities. Saunas were amazing especially good were the workshops we went to two. Not too busy. Reasonable for drinks.

Tropical Oasis of Serenity: The Palm Area and Mineral Pools at Therme Bucharest - From the moment I stepped into Therme Bucharest’s Palm area, I was transported to a lush, tropical paradise that felt worlds away from the hustle of the city. This adult-only oasis (14+), with its retractable glass roof and over 1,500 palm trees, is a breathtaking blend of nature and luxury, creating an atmosphere that’s both rejuvenating and indulgent. The Palm area, paired with its therapeutic mineral pools, is hands-down the crown jewel of this wellness haven, delivering an unforgettable experience that left me relaxed, refreshed, and already planning my next visit. The centerpiece of the Palm area is its massive thermal pool, surrounded by vibrant tropical vegetation and bathed in natural light streaming through the glass dome. The water, maintained at a soothing 33°C, felt like a warm embrace, instantly melting away any tension. What makes this pool truly special is its seamless connection to an outdoor thermal pool, where I could swim through a corridor without ever leaving the water. Floating outside at 36°C, was pure bliss, especially with the hydromassage jets working their magic. The swim-up bar added a playful touch—I sipped a refreshing cocktail while lounging in the pool, feeling like I was on an exotic island getaway. The mineral pools in the Palm area are a highlight that elevates the experience to another level. These three pools—enriched with Dead Sea salt, lithium, and calcium & magnesium—are designed for specific health benefits, with recommended 8-minute soaks to maximize their therapeutic effects. I started with the lithium pool, which promised to calm the mind, and within minutes, I felt a gentle wave of tranquility wash over me. The calcium & magnesium pool was next, leaving my skin feeling soft and my muscles noticeably looser. I approached the Dead Sea salt pool with caution (a tip: avoid if you have any cuts!), but the buoyancy and mineral-rich water were incredibly rejuvenating. Each pool is thoughtfully designed, with clear signage explaining the benefits, making it easy to tailor the experience to your needs. Beyond the pools, the Palm area’s attention to detail is impeccable. The rainforest sauna, with its scheduled scrub and clay mask sessions, was a delightful surprise—my skin glowed afterward. The hydromassage beds, available for a small fee, were like a mini-massage, with water jets targeting all the right spots. Loungers and day beds are scattered throughout, though I’d recommend arriving early to claim one, as they’re in high demand. The area’s lush botanical garden, home to 800,000 plants, adds a serene backdrop, and I loved wandering through the greenery, feeling completely disconnected from the outside world. While the Palm area can get busy, especially on weekends, the sheer size of the space ensures it never feels overwhelming. The staff are attentive, keeping the pools and facilities spotless, and the RFID wristband system makes everything seamless—no need to carry cash or cards. The only minor downside was the occasional wait for a lounger, but with so much to explore, it was hardly an issue. Dining in the Palm area was another treat. The international buffet restaurant offered a wide variety of dishes, from fresh salads to hearty Romanian specialties, all reasonably priced. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Therme Bucharest’s Palm area and mineral pools are a masterclass in relaxation, blending nature, wellness, and fun into an experience that’s both luxurious and accessible. For anyone visiting Bucharest, this is a must-do. I left feeling like I’d been on a mini-vacation, my body and mind completely reset. Do yourself a favor: book a full-day pass, arrive early, and let the Palm area work its magic. You won’t be disappointed

Lovely bovely - We had an amazing time our group of 4, staff was helpful and friendly and spoke good English. The wristband was a bit confusing and could have been explained better, most of the wristband top up units wasn't working so rather then go back to reception to top up decided to leave but we did spend a good 5hrs. I would advise you bring your own towel/ dressing gown and Flip-Flops will save you hiring it (cheap to hire) You use your wristband to do everything and if it runs out you will need to top up

Amazing experience - The most amazing experience, videos and pictures don't do this place enough justice. I also had a mineral massage by Michelle and this was incredible she knew exactly where I had knots and tension, got to be up there with one of the best massages I've had (and I'm a massage therapist myself) Only thing is it got very very busy so I will be trying this out on a weekday next time (: Will 100% be coming back to this spa in the near future x

Tad busy all day every day - Such a tropical, warm and beautiful place to spa. Take your own towel/ robe or rent Indoor shoes (flip flops) a must as you can’t walk around anywhere without them Get there early for the beds there are plenty but it gets really busy. Expect queues for the popular sauna and steam rooms By 09.30 all the massages therapy had been allocated for the day. We chose a therapy festival period not realising which even on a “not so busy” day the queues were longer and you could be in the cinema sauna room and be turfed out mid way for a planned session. Remember to take your towel everywhere more than the robe as you have to sit on them when using the sauna. Realistic prices but a bargain for uk visitor

All appearance little substance - A great marketing operation I would call it, in my opinion overrated facility with poor toilets (bathrooms showers and changing rooms) in the area reserved for children under 15 years 5 slides including 3 for small children and the others with an eternal row, also has this area of two swimming pools for adults and two for small children , 3 wet saunas , heating beds and massage water beds (for a fee). Admission is cheap because it offers little.

Overcrowded, horrible - Horrible! Overcrowded! Overheated! There was no room to swim in the pool, the pool water was 40 c and the water level was really shallow. The place is made for thousands of people, but the pool is tiny for the crowd. In warm weather, it's like a greenhouse effect in the spa, too hot, no air. There were even lines in the saunas, not to mention the lines for the water slides. Had to wait 15 minutes in line just to use the ladies toilet...
