Enjoy a tranquil excursion in a contemporary, plush van, offering pickups from Inverness/Aviemore locales, airports, and train stations, followed by a leisurely journey to the Speyside region. Indulge in your preferred whisky distilleries, sampling the variant tastes at individual speeds. You are free to schedule your lunch at suitable sites, according to your own preference. Comprehensive distillery tours may be integrated, depending on their availability. Please note, the tours highlighted in the itinerary are mere suggestions of potential distillery stops. Kindly reach out to me via the message tab to express which distilleries you’d prefer to visit. Typically, it may include 2 distillery tours and three tastings. Passengers from cruise ships should bear in mind the considerable distance from the Invergordon Cruise Ship Terminal and might wish to consider the closer Northern Delights Whiskey Tour.
- If you would like to book a full tour at any particular then you can go ahead and do so independently and I will ensure I get you there on time. If you wanted to book more than one tour then ensure that you leave at least 1 hour between the end of one tour and the start of the next. Tours could also be booked on the day however this would be subject to availability and it should be noted that Distilleries can become very busy at the height of the season

Best tour in the highlands! - Wonderful experience with the best guide! Would highly recommend to choose this tour.
The guide advised us the best whisky tours possible and suitable for our tast. He even arranged acces to the MacAllan distillery which is very hard to come these days.
Great lunch spot, and an luxury van to sit in.

Excellent private tour Speyside and Highlands distilleries. - This tour was excellent! We booked a Speyside full day private tour for our family of 6. Craig set up and scheduled the tours/whisky tastings at multiple distilleries as well as lunch and side trips to other sites of interest. All were fantastic. We truly enjoyed Craig's company and his knowledge of the area. If you are looking for a custom private tour we highly recommend Craig.

Great day with Craig - Hi Craig
I wanted to thank you again for a wonderful, memorable day yesterday! We all had a great time and Brian & I enjoyed the whiskey tasting. Although he is not really a whiskey drinker i appreciated him joining me in the tastings. Marty enjoyed the whole excursion and was so happy you found a gin distillery for him and is now enjoying a wee dram of gin! I don’t think the bottle will last to take home with us.
If we get back this way we will be in touch!
Also your help in reserving for us at Urquharts was so appreciated. Our dinner was delicious and we all enjoyed it.

Craig Dale, Tour Guide Straordinario! - From the moment we entered his van, it just felt right. We had a private tour with Craig Dale in a private coach. Our itinerary began with The Battlefield of Culloden where he ushered to the front to avoid the big crowd coming in. His knowedge of history in his country was amazing. He’s well-versed on this famous battle. After that followed the Cairns which were closeby, the cooperage (how interesting!!), Walker’s Shortbread (important to me!), lunch, and then Speyside Distillery.
The entire time he was upbeat, kept the conversation going--we felt very comfortable with him. He’s personable, handled the vehicle professionally, and extremely knowledgeable of everything Scotland. He even called ahead to make dinner reservations for us. I would highly recommend Craig Dale for any touring of the Inverness area! Tapadh leat!

Everything you could want from a whisky tour - Craigs tour of the Speyside whisky distilleries was excellent! He picked us up from the airport at 9am and dropped us at our Air BnB at 7pm so was a full on day. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and Craig tailored it on the day to what we wanted so we were not rushed but experienced a lot. Craig was very friendly and knowledgeable and kept us going with refreshments too which was a nice touch especially after drinking our fill of whisky! I would highly recommend this tour if you’re a whisky lover and appreciate culture.

Outstanding Personalized Tour - Craig was the perfect guide. The service was excellent, he is very knowledgeable about the area, and it was generally a pleasure to spend the day with him. I appreciated his ability to help us plan the day without overwhelming us with options. In the end, my friend and I got a curated personal experience without all the effort of planning out the details ourselves. As Craig got to know us during the tour he was able to suggest points of interest that were not part of the original plan, but that he knew we would love and would fit into our schedule. I would absolutely book with Craig again and suggest any of his tours to friends and family.

Amazing - Craig was an excellent tour guide, arriving on time to collect us from Inverness and securing entry for us to a number of distilleries. Craig arranged lunch for us and was extremely thoughtful offering water and snacks during the journey. I would highly recommend a trip with Craig, communication in the lead up to our trip was excellent.

Day Tour of Speyside Distilleries - We were traveling as a family of 5 adults, we booked Craig for a day touring the whisky distilleries on Speyside. Craig was very nice and helpful from the start, helping us choose the best places to visit for a tour and the ones to do just a tasting! We ended up with a full day with two nice tours at Glenfiddich and Macallan, and tastings at 3 other distilleries! With a comfortable van, snacks and water for the journey, and very kind to answer all of our questions about Scotland, Whisky, history, and so on. Thank you for such a lovely day, Craig! We will definitely book with you again in the future to explore more of beautiful Scotland!

We were a party of six,... - We were a party of six, taking the tour on a Sunday in late Sept. While Craig tried to do what he could, he was limited because of it being a Sunday and also late in the season. We only had one true tasting where staff explained to us the process of whiskey production. We had hoped for more, perhaps a tour of a distillery or more information on the whiskey making process. It may have been nice to know that the tour wasn’t going to fit the description due to the circumstances.
