Then you will go into the water, and out instructor will push you into your first waves!

Our comprehensive surfing syllabus spans theoretical classroom lessons to practical hands-on sessions at the beach, aiding you to make maximum gains from your surf trips and to stoke your passion for the sport.
The course arrangement involves two-hour theory, hands-on, and revision sessions aimed at rookies or refresher students.
- The schedule of the lesson will be confirmed one day in advance
- Your transportation is included (around Badung and Denpasar area)
- You only need to bring your boardshort/ bikini, we will cover everything else

Feel safe in the water and progress with surfing - I tried a few instructors with different companies while in bali, but finally got Budi as my instructor from Rip Curl. He was very patient with me and made me feel safe in the water even with the waves crashing down on us. I made progress and I’m happy with the experience. Big thumbs up and definitely will enroll into Rip Curl again on my next trip.

The best place to learn to surf in Indo! - These guys are the best! Rey, Budi and Namang were so helpful, funny, and we finished four days of surfing very confident and loving it. Definitely recommend!!

Great way to start our Bali adventure - Really good communication via WhatsApp prior to lesson, driver picked up on time and was very friendly and chatty. Arrived to the lesson, given strong cream for the face and allowed to dip in sea before lesson on the beach.
Moved to the sea to practice; four of us and two instructors helping us. They also had a photographer on the beach taking pictures.
Photos 350k/pp but they are willing to do deals for larger groups. They email digitalis over to you very quickly.
Things to bear in mind;
Public changing rooms and toilets. The shower is quite literally a hose pipe hooked up - but does the job well!
The other thing is the men were offered rash shirts. In hind sight the girls wish we had asked for them too as we got very badly sunburned during the activity despite waterproof strong spf sun cream

Awesome - Awesome instructors! If you are at Canggu you should definetly go to this surf school! I really recomend Rip curl school of surf Legian!

Good place to learn surfing - I liked positive approach, advice about first steps to surfing. Also the backround was OK (showers, cabines for cloth change, reception). It is possible to pay by credit card and you can buy pictures from your lesson.
I would recommend prolonging the opening hours as they close at 5p.m which was too yearly for me.

Not good for us - We asked to join a beginner group lesson but on arrival we found out we had been booked a private 1hr lesson (instead of the much cheaper group 2hr lesson).
It was our first time surfing. Our instructor's English was far from good, we were taken to a reef break that probably wasn't the most suitable place for two beginners. We spent the whole class battling to paddle out and had only 2 attemps at catching a wave each.
We went to another school the next day and had a much better experience.

immatured and unproffesional trainers - I with my daughter and son ( 10 year old) took personnel trainer coarse for learning surfing .First day was horrible.The trainer with my son totally left him alone and he got hit with the surf board on back.My son still having problem with it, even after one month.. Even after that incidence , there was no first aid or trained person to look after him,So if you are a beginner please make sure you don't get hurt . There are no fixed trainer for your coarse time. Trainers are just immature and unprofessional.They also cut short your surfing time if they are a bit busy.so overall, not so professional as they claim and as they charge highest in bali.
