It is the only settlement in the region where the Jewish community has been continuously preserved since ancient times. The settlement’s history dates back to the 18th century when the first Jewish families settled here. Since then, it has thrived, maintaining its traditions and culture through the ages.
• Six Dome Synagogue - This former Jewish synagogue, now a landmark Jewish history museum, is located in the village of Gyrmyzy Gasaba (or Red Village). Built at the end of the 19th century, its design is reminiscent of a synagogue in Istanbul. It served as a center for religious education.
• Mountain Jews Museum - Located in Guba, Azerbaijan, the Museum of Mountain Jews is dedicated to Mountain Jews. Opened in 2020, it is housed in the 19th-century Karchog Synagogue and is the world’s first and only museum dedicated to Mountain Jews.

We will pickup you from hotel at the early morning and will take you to Quba region, Krasnaya Sloboda Village, 165 km away from Baku with driver and professional guide. This tour is unique, because you will learn how Azeri people are tolerant to all nations and religions. Thus, a settlement of a large numbers of Jewish citizens was organized without fear of discrimination, retribution, or clashes with neighboring towns and states. Today, seven synagogues have been preserved. They are all built of bricks, and the larger ones are decorated with onion domes.
