The drive from the meeting point to this location takes approximately 90 minutes. Today, the itinerary includes a visit to the Diribaba Mausoleum, a 15th-century structure impressively carved into a cliff, merging architecture with natural rock, and dedicated to the Sufi saint Diribaba. Guests will spend around 40 minutes here, guided by a professional.
Juma Mosque - The next stop is the Juma Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in the Caucasus, dating back to the 8th century. It is renowned for withstanding numerous earthquakes and exemplifying classic Islamic architecture. The drive from the meeting point to this site is about 30 minutes. Guests will have a 20-minute guided tour here.
Yeddi Gumbaz Mausoleum - The final destination of the day is the Yeddi Gumbaz Mausoleum, a necropolis of the Shirvan royal family featuring seven domed tombs, located on a hill with panoramic views of the valley. Guests will receive a 20-minute guided explanation. The tour concludes here, and the journey to Gabala begins. The drive to Gabala takes 120 minutes, where guests will be dropped off at their hotel for an overnight stay.

Sheki Khan’s Palace - After completing the tour, the journey continues to the Sheki region. Guests will explore the Sheki Khan Palace, a UNESCO-listed site and a significant architectural landmark in Azerbaijan, constructed in the 18th century by the Sheki Khanate. The drive from the previous location to this site is 90 minutes. Guests will enjoy a 30-minute guided tour.
Abad Ceramics And Applied Art Center - The tour also includes a visit to the ABAD Ceramic Arts Centre, a modern cultural hub that promotes Azerbaijani pottery and handicrafts. Visitors can observe artisans at work and try their hand at ceramics. The Art Gallery, a small yet rich space, features traditional and contemporary Azerbaijani art, often showcasing Sheki’s unique miniature and folk styles.
