Great Place for family, loads to see - The best aquarium we as a family ever visited huge selection of sea life very well planned and very clean it was so big we had to take a break in between the rainforest at the end was something else highly recommended

worth visiting. - Best experience we had. Especially Penguins and Amazon tropical forest replica, we really felt that we are in the middle of rain forest. That also inside a shopping mall, Amazing.

Aquarium - Visited this place with my wife. It was interesting and wonderful place. Recommend to visit. There are also shops here, if you want to do shopping.

One where have to be visited - Perfect location which you must visit, specially if you love fish. Great Designing, with rare sea creatures.

Great time at Istanbul Aquarium - Me and my family had great time at Istanbul Aquarium. It was very educative and interesanting experiense for whole ages.

Beautiful Day Experience 🐧🚐 - Everything worked out great for our group of 9. There was enough room for everyone on the bus/van, and the distance from our hotel, Hagia Sophia, was not very far. The exhibits in the aquarium were amazing and beautiful. The mall was very spacious with many floors. However, I just wished we had another hour or two to fully explore the stores and attractions.

Lovely - A very nice place to be and you will have a wonderful time if you love the sea life. Neatly done and superbly massive. Don't miss the mall in Florya as well. You can easily take the Marmarai line from Sirkeçi and travel via the magnificent rail line. You can use your istanbulkart (the red card for Istanbul public transportation).

Istanbul Aquarium - The aquarium, which is one of the largest in Europe, boasts a helpful front desk that provides excellent assistance. It houses a diverse range of creatures from both the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. Although there was no tour guide available or any shows available, we enjoyed the impressive 3D Istanbul tour. However, the shopping mall was considered to be overpriced.

Bad - Staff are rude and not welcoming, most of the screens with explanations were not working, part of the aquarium was under maintenence without pre notification, aquarium glass were not clean from inside. It was foggy in some areas, tickets were given to us at the entrance so we were not able to access the Egyptian museum which was paid already until we spoke to the customer services. Did not like the experience in general.

The worst sort of fish prison - Where to start? The desert-like tanks where there is no attempt to recreate the natural environment? The people trying to touch fish in open tanks (despite signs to the contrary)? The penguins with No natural light? The shy animals (like Moray eels) with no hiding place? The intense noise of screaming kids? The photo booths (‘dress up as aSultan’)? The hall of mirrors? There are some information boards which go into the degradation of the Mediterranean. And a few tanks with sponges/anemones. But overall, this has one objective. To entertain, not educate. I cannot recommend it to anyone. And to top it all, acres of plastic crap in the shop....what a message!
