House On The Drina River, Šargan Eight Train & The Wooden City

Drina River House - The journey begins with a visit to the renowned “House on the Drina River,” a solitary log cabin perched on a river stone. Travel time is included in the overall duration.

The Šargan Eight - Following a brief stop for photos and refreshments, the adventure continues to the iconic Šargan Eight. This distinctive narrow-gauge railway now operates solely for leisure. During the ride, there will be several stops at viewpoints offering breathtaking vistas over Mokra Gora. The authentic carriages, featuring wooden seats, wood-burning stoves, and their characteristic rattling, transport visitors back to 1925 when the railway first opened. Travel time is included in the overall duration.

Mecavnik - The subsequent destination is Wooden Town. Renowned director Emir Kusturica, a two-time Palme d’Or winner at Cannes, constructed this town during the filming of his movie “Life is a Miracle.” He opted to relocate and restore dilapidated wooden chalets from the mountain slopes to create a new settlement. Travel time is included in the overall duration.

Uvac Lake Special Nature Reserve Boat Cruise

Uvac Special Nature Reserve - Just an hour’s drive from Zlatibor leads to the pristine beauty of Uvac Canyon. Over centuries, the Uvac River has carved its path through the mountains, forming deep meanders and caves that draw numerous visitors.

A boat trip will follow the river’s winding course through the stunning landscape. Before departing the Reserve, there will be opportunities to capture incredible photos from the canyon’s viewpoints.

After the awe-inspiring Uvac Canyon experience, lunch will be enjoyed at a local restaurant (not included). The tour concludes with a transfer to Belgrade, arriving in the evening, with hotel drop-offs marking the end of the tour.

IMPORTANT NOTE 1: To reach the viewpoints, a 25-minute uphill hike is required.
