A highlight of our first trip to MX - My 2 adult sons (21 and 30) had a fabulous time on our ride. Richard contacted me to confirm our ride, ask about our preferences and experience for the ride, picked us up and dropped us off at our rental home. Our guide, Manuel, was wonderful as well. We went on a ride through the mountains, up and down narrow paths, all at a pace I was comfortable with. The sunset in the mountains was beautiful and Manuel took a stunning pic of my sons and I on horseback with the setting sun behind us. I highly recommend this tour and this business for your rides in Loreto.

Great family experience. - We had a group of 5 adults and 2 kids on a beach ride. Everything was on time and as promised. The staff are very friendly. The horses are healthy and well cared for. The whole experience was a lot of fun and the men who lead the ride took good care of us, especially the kids. Well worth it for creating experiences and memories.

Sunset horse ride on the beach - Rode horses on the beach at sunset with the kids, and it was awesome. The guides were great, and it was the perfect length. Highly recommend this company for this activity!

Amazing tour and amazing people! - I went on the horseback ride along the coast at sunset, with Yaser and the horse trainer. The weather was beautiful and the ride was so relaxing! There were cancellations so it ended up being only me on the tour and it was lovely to just hang out and chat with Yaser while we rode along the beach. He then convinced me to do the ATV tour that they offered which I did the following Friday. We stopped at one point along the coast and then headed into the mountains on the riverbed. It was exhilarating to speed along the flat parts, and the scenery was amazing. Thank you Yaser and friends for an incredible experience in Loreto!

Very happy traveler - This was an absolutely incredible experience. The guides were knowledgeable and careful, the scenery was breathtaking, and I enjoyed myself thoroughly. There are sandwiches and drinks for you to enjoy. When I got back, they taught me to milk the goat and we talked about the farm operations. The next day they delivered goat cheese (queso fresco) to my hotel, which I enjoyed with tortillas, avocado and camarones a la plancha! I can’t say enough about Richard, his lovely wife and their incredible crew and wonderful children, except that they offer even more than everything I experienced! Boat trips, massages, ATVs and more. See for yourself!

Riding in the arroyo - Beautiful scenery in the arroyo west of Loreto. Exceptionally nice guides on an out and back ride to a small waterfall. Total ride time was about 1:30, with a snack and short hike at the turnaround point. The owners of the business pick you up at your hotel and drop you off at the end. Great excursion for a very fair price.

Enjoying nature - My brother and I had an amazing time horseback riding with minimal to no experience. We got picked up at our hotel one hour before our 4:00 pm reservation. Once you get assigned a horse, you’re on your way to amazing trails along the mountains and enjoying the fresh air. It’s was a good way to unplug from everything. They gave us lunch and a choice of beverage at break stop (I recommend the manchaca burrito’s). Everybody at Rancho Quest were very friendly and courteous. Put it on your to do list, we’re very happy we did. Viva Mexico

Worth the spend. Pleasant Morning. - My family left from the beach at 9:00am. It was a beautiful day. The rancher did not speak english but he was very nice. The ride was about 1.5 hours vs the 2.5 stated but we had a great time. The kids ran their horses up and down the sand. The views were excellent of the islands and Giganta mountains. Overall a nice experience.

Enjoyed parts of it, though not at advertised - We had fun. A few things to be aware of: it was not at sunset (as the title advertised). There are no bathrooms available during the excursion. Somehow I booked us on the Cascade de San Telmo (waterfall) trip instead of the one I had intended - be careful when making your selection as the trips are not described well on Viator. It would have been nice to receive a riding orientation of some kind (we had a first time rider in the group and she was afraid after the guide told her not to put her foot all the way in the stirrup in case the horse threw her off and her foot got caught and she was dragged). We booked a 3pm ride and I think morning would have been better - it was hot and dry and very sun-exposed (hat and sunscreen are a must!). Likely the horses would have had more energy in the morning as well. The ride back from the waterfall was more enjoyable with the sun at our backs and the horses more energized. The tour was advertised as being in English, and though the person who picked us up spoke English, the very nice guide on horseback who actually rode out with us did not - so the tour did not include anything about culture, history, flora, fauna, etc. Still, was interesting to see the terrain and the pretty waterfall which (we learned from another guide who happened to be there) apparently originates from a spring in the nearby mission town of San Javier.

Not as advertised - Operator says website is mis - leading, and there are no waterfalls. Booked sunset mountain / beach ride - we left too early for sunset, short ride down beach which was way underwhelming. Unless this if first time on a horse, skip this.
