Whales! Amazing! - For a quick, 3 hour tourist adventure, I highly recommend the Cabo Adventures' luxury catamaran whale watching tour, especially during whale watching season between December - April. Here is why we chose this particular tour:
1) The catamaran doesn't hold that many people, maybe like 20-ish. So we never felt like, crowded or unable to get a good view. We passed by some other whale watching boats that were just filled to the rim with people.
2) Beverages and light lunch is included. Granted, it's just basic beer, wine, and margaritas (and non-alcoholic drinks too) but it added to the fun. The lunch was fine, nothing to write home about.
3) The whole thing takes 2.5 hours, which, if you ask me, is the perfect amount of time. Go out, take pics, see whales, go back to your hotel pool for a siesta. I didn't need to go snorkeling or hang out any longer than that.
We went during the 1st week of April 2025. I thought since it was the end of the season that we wouldn't see any whales, but wow, we sure did. The baby humpback whales were out there, just jumping and jumping. It is such a treat to see these amazing creatures in their natural habitat.
Anyway, I highly recommend this tour if you want to do something fun and low-key on the ocean. Bring coral-friendly sunscreen and light long sleeves as it can get pretty chilly in the open sea with the wind, even in sunny conditions.
One more tip, if you are walking around the marina looking for the Cabo Adventures check-in, it's in the Cabo Dolphins building.

Luxury Day Sailing - definitely worth it!! - Everything was fantastic about this tour. Our guides were friendly, the food we were served was delicious and I don’t think I was ever without a drink. I cannot remember who our guides were, but our captain was captain Dan on March 7th We saw a few whales jumping in the water and 2 turtles. The views along the coast were beautiful and the open ocean is always a joy to look at. A great tour - I’d recommend it to anyone!!

Had a blast! - We had a wonderful time on our whale watching cruise. Jorge was our guide. He was quite knowledgeable and we saw many whales! We were served bento boxes with a nice assortment of appetizers, as well as alcohol and soft drinks. The boat also paused at the famous arch for several minutes. It was well worth the cost!

Cabo adventures did a... - Cabo adventures did a great job! Our guide was very knowledgeable about whales, and we were able to see a few whales on our tour, even though it was the last day for the season! At the end of the tour, we saw three whales: 2 adults and one baby! They extended our tour so that we could enjoy our sighting.

Excellent - We got to see grey whales! An amazing experience. Jorge was very knowledgable about the whales and a great tour guide. Would highly recommend this tour because the catamaran is much smoother than smaller boats.

Fantastic experience! - My wife and I did the whale watching tour. Despite it being the end of the season we still saw plenty of whales and we even saw a full body breach!
The best part was the staff. Our tour guide was incredibly passionate about whales and oceanic conservation. I like the fact that we got close enough without stressing the whales and invading their space.
We will be back!

This trip was... - This trip was spectacular. Everything was well planned: from timely pick up/drop off to boat ride. The boat crew was organized and courteous. We were offered drinks and snacks that were actually good and healthy.
Special "thank you" to Jorge! He made the trip so interesting. He has deep passion and extensive knowledge of whales.
And finally- we saw MANY whales: singles, in 2, 3, and even 4. There were also dolphins. It was AMAZING!
We had an amazing time.

Beautiful tour with an exceptional guide - Took the 8am luxury whale watching tour and had a fabulous time. Had several whale sightings during the 2.5 hour tour. Stopped by the famous arch for pictures en route to the whale migration area. Saw whales, dolphins, sea turtles, sting rays and puffer fish. Service on board was excellent, with drinks readily available and generous snacks served mid tour. The highlight was the wonderful, passionate guide, who conveyed his love for marine life to the group. Highly recommend!
