Highlights
  • Paradise Island - All aboard Cay Island Tours! Something nautical and newfangled now navigates Nassau’s harbor, above the coral reef and when the seas allow, over an old shipwreck! We are talking about a seacraft that looks like a UFO (unidentifiable floating object) with its sleek, semi-submersive design and 10-by-7-foot-monocular view.

The vessels are European-crafted 37’ Lookers, are not just glass-bottom boats; guests get an underwater view with a fish-eyed monocular. The boat’s build includes the innovative underwater fin; a curved winglike surface that is designed to lift a boat in motion, by means of reaction upon its surface from the water through which it moves

We are proud to announce that this product is eco-conscious. Our guests view the delicate marine life without caging, catching, or contact, which allows the biodiversity of the reef to thrive as it was naturally intended to.

Lots of fun - The whole experience was fun, informative, and generally a great tour. The two guides, captain turbo and his mate, seemed to have a good time and really wanted us to have a good time. Hans on to your hats, literally, because at two points Turbo lives up to his name! Saw some sights, some reef, and some fish.

Excellent snorkeling tour; well worth your time and money - My son and I did a 2 hour snorkeling tour with Cay Island Tours. Captain's Turbo and Marvin along with First Mate AJ were AWESOME! There ended up being a total of 8 of us on the 9AM tour on February 29th, 2024 so it felt very private. The crew did a wonderful job explaining the safety information and features of the boat. They had a cooler of complimentary beverages (beer, water, local soda) and took us on a blazing fast trip (with Rocking Music) out to Rose Island for our snorkeling tour of a reef. The crew showed us cards with all types of sea life we might see and told us what to look out for (and avoid). They got us all the snorkeling gear we needed and got in the water with us to point out various creatures and coral of interest. I felt very safe being escorted by this crew and confident in their knowledge of boat operations and local knowledge. We wanted to get out and snorkel but didn't need/want a 4 or 8 hour excursion. This trip was just right at just over 2 total hours with more than an hour in the water snorkeling. We were blazing past huge slow boats jam packed with people; I felt like a VIP. Be prepared for an amazing time; you'll get an efficient trip that combines an exhilarating boat ride, expert guided snorkel time, some good tunes, and a fun crew all jammed into one 2ish hour adventure.

If you only have 2 hours do this! - A fantastic tour of you're tight on time since it only takes about 2 hours but it's very packed with things to see. Though supposedly we lucked out with the wildlife sightings, Nancy the nurse shark, Manatees, rays, barracuda, and more. The crew was great, welcoming and entertaining and the hydrofoil speeding was a lot of fun too.

Exciting & FUN! Laughs and love included. - Capt. TURBO & Capt. MARVIN are AMAZING! We saw Nancy the nurse shark, also saw stingrays, turtles, barracuda, manatee, 3 natural reefs & a couple of shipwrecks! The glass bottom was amazing to see the reefs. We enjoyed the "turbo" hydro- plane that was very exciting. The ladies at the help desks were so good to us. The captains gave us a lot of information about the Bahamas, island history, animals, ships and celebrity houses. We left with big smiles and bigger hearts for the Bahamas. We will definitely return. Enjoy the pictures.

Boat tour of downtown - We really wanted more time with the coral reefs It also would be a good idea to have ginger ale and crackers because most of the people were very sea sick. And give people a heads up this boat will go very fast several times. Otherwise the area is lovely, captain and crew friendly.
