Wonderful experience with lots of native Costa Rican wildlife, flavors and views. . - Excellent bang for the buck! Several sub tours all wrapped into one tour. Each individual tour had its own flavors and extra special surprises. Our tour guide Kelman and his driver Kenny were excellent hosts and very knowledgeable about the area. They showed us lots of neat little nuances that I doubt we could have gotten otherwise. We were able to see many more local plant and animal species than I could have ever imagined. All the people we met at each visit where welcoming and knowledgeable and we had a great time with everyone at each place.

Highly recommended Rainforest tour - Amazing experience. We were lucky to have Calman as our tour guide and Kenneth as our driver. Seen so many different animals and they would even stop on side of the road to let us photograph. And what he can do with telescope and iPhone for photos is amazing. LONG day and lots of time in the van but would do it again!

Rainforest tour - My friend and I booked a Rainforest nature walk with Freddie Campos. We had a wonderful with our guide Daniel and our driver Jorge. Our tour included a nature walk through the rainforest, a walk down to the waterfall, toured a coffee and chocolate farms. We had a delicious lunch. Daniel and Jorge were very informative, respectful, professional and a pleasure to spend the day with. We will definitely book another tour with Freddie Campos.

Interactive, fun experience! - We did the Rainforest tour and had a fantastic experience! Our driver (Geraldo) and tour guide (Daniel) were so knowledgeable, funny, entertaining, professional, and kept the tour fun until the last minute. Lots of great activities and they pick us from our resort (Secrets at Papagayo). The locals at every stop were so welcoming and interactive. So many people on tours, but none of the stops felt crowded. I'd highly recommend Freddy and his team for a tour! 5stars!

Rainforest Tour - We had a great experience with Freddy’s tours. Freddy was very helpful in answering all my questions about the tour beforehand through Facebook. We did the rainforest tour with Danielle. He was very informative and easy to talk to. We really enjoyed having him as a guide. Our driver Jose was great and we felt very safe with his driving

Private tours, airport transfers, and a catamaran - It can be overwhelming to research tours and excursions before going to Costa Rica, with so many options and uncertainty on the quality. We went with Freddy's Experiences after reading many recommendations from persons staying at the Westin Conchal Guanacaste. We booked multiple private tours and transfers with Freddy. 1. Airport transfers to and from Liberia Airport. Definitely worth doing this: we were a sizeable group with multiple suitcases. There was someone to greet us upon arrival (a photo of her was supplied, which was most helpful) and lead us to the van and driver. The drivers there and back were excellent. 2. The Rainforest Tour. This is a full day with a short hike to a waterfall for a quick dip at Bagaces, a chocolate tour, a coffee tour, quick look at Blue River, and best of all the nature walk with sloths and other flora and fauna in the rainforest in Alajuela (FYI, it rains in the rainforest, so bring a poncho or light rain jacket). Our day guide Daniel was knowledgeable, giving us a sense of the landscape we would be visiting. Our rainforest guide on the nature walk was excellent in spotting and explaining all of the various animals. This tour had the longest drive to the next province over (Alajuela). 3. The Active Volcano Tour. We enjoyed the hikes on this tour, led by our very knowledgeable guide Ray. There are modest hikes on trails to suspension bridges and waterfalls. There's a short volcanic hike, with all of the explanations of the geology and experiences of the warm water and warm air releases. Also had an opportunity to do a short horseback ride in the area of Miravalles Volcano. We relaxed in the sulfur sauna, clay bath, and warm and cold water pools (maybe don't bring your nicest swimsuit for this). We even stopped to get a bit of shopping done for more chocolate, coffee, and random souvenirs and gifts (better prices than at the resort). This was also a full-day tour, but slightly shorter than the Rainforest Tour since the drive isn't all the way into another province. 4. Catamaran Cruise. This half-day tour is arranged by Freddy's with Panache. After the longer driving with the other tours, it was nice to only have to travel on the arranged shuttle bus with others for 15 minutes to Marina Flamingo to catch the catamaran. It was nice to relax on a boat for an afternoon, go snorkelling to see a few fish and sea urchins, and then watch the sunset. There is a nice late lunch with drinks on board as well. Excellent service from the professional catamaran staff. All in all, it was nice to have all of the above booked before landing in Costa Rica (we paid a deposit in advance for all of the above and paid the balance for each in cash once there). We had just the right amount of excursions over a week. Freddy's two guides were terrific and knowledgeable, and their pride in their work and Costa Rica was evident. Freddy's four drivers (two airport transfers, two tours) were all excellent. The nice thing about having private tours to the rainforest and the volcano for our group was that, while we managed to visit everything on the list, we were not overly constrained by a schedule.

We loved our experience we Freddy! We did a tour to Nicaragua and a private rainforest tour. We can’t wait to go back! - We loved our private rainforest tour! Neme and Ray were amazing… probably the best part! We loved seeing Tuscans, sloths, snakes, tree frogs and beautiful waterfalls. The coffee plantation was a special cultural treat!

Great Guide in Ray - We did 2 tours with Freddy Campos. We did the rainforest and volcano tours. Ray was our guide for both days. Ray was fantastic and I would not hesitate to use him again. I would however hesitate to use Freddy again. We had booked a private tour and the night before Freddy contacted us to see if we would mind adding two additional people to our private tour which I found inappropriate since it was a private tour. . We also used Freddy for transportation to and from the airport. On our initial call, Freddy said he would do one of the airport transfers free if we booked both tours but he failed to honor that. He asked me when he said that. I told him and he never responded back to me. The driver picked us up and we were charged for the transfer.

Great tour - just not what we booked... - We had an amazing experience with Rey as our tour guide. Picked up at the Westin at 6:30 am, stopped for breakfast, coffee farm was the most amazing place, lunch was fabulous, blue river, chocolate farm tour, tons of wildlife! Rey was great at spotting wildlife everywhere we went. This was the Nature Walk and Chocolate Tour. We booked the Blue Waterfall Hike tour. After we stopped at the blue river, I asked our guide when we go to the waterfall. He said we don't, that is another tour. I contacted Freddy and he confirmed I booked the Blue Waterfall hike but he sent us on a leisurely walk instead. He apologized but nothing was done to make this right. Rey was fantastic, I would not hesitate to hire him again. I would however, hesitate to use Freddy again since we did not get the tour we booked, a tour which we had looked forward to for months, a tour to see the famous Blue Waterfall which we did not get to see. It was super disappointing for our family of six. Freddy did contact us the night before the tour asking where to pick us up, which I found strange since we paid quite a bit extra to be picked up out at the Westin. In hindsight, I should have confirmed then.
