Best Tour Guide Ever!!! - Ray was absolutely amazing! He is so knowledgeable. Every question we asked he answered in depth. He constantly was showing us the land, the culture and how to support local businesses. Went out of his way to make me feel special by stopping and grabbing a birthday cake for me without me knowing to have everyone sing for me. This is an unforgettable experience for My son and I and I could not be more grateful. So much beauty, so much knowledge! If you are looking for a once in a lifetime experience try to book Ray. Fantastic tours with Freddy's team - We did 3 tours with Freddy and his team when we were there. They were all amazing. Not only that but they were well organized, safe, and Freddy communicated all aspects of the tours before we went. He was very accommodating to our needs and also picked us up and dropped us off at our location. The guides were GREAT! They found sooooo many animals and were able to get us some great pictures. We loved the local aspect of the tours, especially Don Juan and the coffee tour. We did the Volcano and the Rainforest tour as well. My kids loved the animals and seeing the sloths was certainly a highlight. We also did the half day ATV which was a great time - just prepare to be filthy and dusty after that! The guides were all very friendly and professional and the drivers were great too. Thanks to Freddy's team, we had an incredible time in Costa Rica and learned so much about the people and the country. We will be back!

Excellent tours. Can't wait to go back. - Between the 8 in our group staying at the Riu Palace, we booked 4 excursions ahead of time with Freddy Campos. Communication was great, the drivers made us feel safe (even on the crazy roads), and all of our tour guides were super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They all really went out of their way to make sure we all had a good time. Here is my review for each tour: One day Nicaragua tour- When people tell you it is only a 2 hour drive from Riu to Nicaragua, they are telling the truth. However, it is important to note that once you reach the border, you will be spending quite a bit of time in the van still. We were gone from the resort for 18 hours, with only about 4 hours outside of the van. Yes, you read that correctly. Mind you, everything we saw in Nicaragua was stunning. The water volcano was beautiful, the active volcano was priceless, the town of Granada we toured had amazing architecture, breakfast and lunch were delicious and we all loved the boat ride where we saw numerous islands, monkeys and lots of cool looking birds. It was just a LOT of driving. Was it worth it? That’s up to you, but I personally would not do this again. I truly loved everything we saw and our guides were perfect, but we spent very little time at each spot and I was stir crazy in the van by the end of the day. Sunset Trimaran- Those of us that did this one had a great time. The boat picks you up on the beach right near the Riu. They lower a ramp for you to get on the boat, so even those with walking difficulties have no issues getting on. We went to a little island for our base to go snorkeling. My daughter and I saw several sea turtles, puffer fish, eel, a stingray and many colorful fish. We loved it! If we ever make it back to Costa Rica, I would do this one again. Nighttime rainforest- We did a slightly customized nighttime rainforest tour with Freddy. We added on a tour of a pineapple farm to his standard nighttime tour. This was BY FAR my favorite tour we took in Costa Rica. The whole day was great. We saw a baby sloth, toucans, monkeys, frogs, various birds, did a coffee tour, pineapple farm tour and went to a great waterfall. However, the highlight of the day was walking through the rainforest at night. Wow. It was spectacular. We saw snakes, tons of frogs, thousands of ants carrying leaves, strange looking insects and best of all….Tapirs! We walked within feet of a mama tapir and her baby. The rainforest really is different at night. At one point, the guide has us all turn off our flashlights and just stand there quietly in the pitch dark for a minute. What a great experience. If you only have time for one excursion, this would be the one I would recommend, hands down. Riverboat & rum tour- I did not go on this one, but four in our group did this with Freddy. I can’t say much about it since I didn’t go, but they all said they saw so much wildlife and the boat was relaxing. They only had good things to say about this trip and the pictures I saw looked very cool.

Best 7 days w Freddy's Experiences! - We had an amazing 7 days with Freddy's Experiences! We booked our whole vacation with him and he didnt dissapoint! He provided airport pickup and drop off and 4 tours with excellent guides! (Neme, Rei and himself) We didnt have to rent a car or worry about driving in a new country w 2 children. He was very professional and accomodating. The Volcano tour was our highlight with the hanging bridges! A must see! Good hiking boots are a good idea, especially in the rainy season. We highly recommend Freddy for all your transport and tours in Costa Rica!

Best 7 days w Freddy Campos Tours! - We had an amazing 7 days with Freddy's Costa Rica Experiences! We booked our whole trip with him and had an amazing time! He provided all the transport to and from the airport. We did 4 tours w him and all of them were excellent! He was professional and accomodated all of our needs. We have an amazing day with Rey! - The tour was awesome! Rey is absolutely the best. If you book with Freddy, I would request Reiner as your guide. You will not be disappointed. We were picked up at 6:30 am at the Westin, spent the day with Rey, horseback riding, hiking, watching so much wildlife! The volcano was really cool, the mud bath, sauna and natural hot springs were a lot of fun, but we stunk like sulfur for days afterwards, no matter how much we washed. LOL Lunch was delicious! The hanging bridges were really cool. Our family of six thoroughly enjoyed the day with Rey.

A must do!! Ask for Neme! - This was an amazing experience and so worth it. Our guide Neme was so knowledgeable and passionate about Costa Rica. It felt like we were hanging with a friend exploring his country! Loved the mud bath and hot springs! Waterfalls are amazing! Food was excellent!

Guide was great. The end. - Our guide Monica was really exceptional. That is the only reason why I’m giving it a 3. If you want history then it’s for you. The effort to walk up the trail isn’t worth the views nor the price. The views at the base were just as good.
