Thank you Curly! - I had my very first surf lesson ever with Curly! First thing, don't try to pick your own time - it's best to keep flexible and listen to what Curly suggests as the best time based on your surfing level. It'll make a huge difference! I didn't expect to be a pro after my first lesson but I was able to stand up on my first wave (and the subsequent waves after that). Curly was very encouraging and I would not hesitate to recommend him!

First time surf like a pro 🏄‍♀️ - This is my first and best surf lesson in my life, luckily to have the best and funniest surf instructor Curly to teach me how to surf like a pro! It is very easy to surf and I have so much fun, the instructions is clear and easy to remember, I can even stand up on the surfboard in my very first time, Highly recommend the funniest private instructor Curly. Amazing expérience - We take lesson with Curly in Canggu. It was an amazing experience. Curly give us good advice, help us, and support us in the water every time. He is also very fun and kind so you can be confident he will do his best to help you to improve your skills. My friend and I had so much fun in the water with Curly and his friends. Initially we went for 1 lesson but finally take two (epic session in the sunset for the last one one Canggu beach) I have tried lesson before in France, but Curly permit me to improve my skills much faster. He’s always watching, laughing & give good energy. It was a pleasure. For sure if we came back we will surf with him again !

Knowledgeable, smart and funny instructor! - Coaching is not an easy task but Curly is a pro at it. While he is always smiling, joking and having a good time he is also very knowledgeable and is the perfect coach for any skill level. As someone who wanted to be pushed but also stay within my capabilities, I felt Curly did an amazing job of satisfying all my needs while also teaching me lasting lessons. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to improve their surfing and to have a fun time while doing it!

Best lesson ever - My lesson with Curly was soo good! He helped me so much finding my common mistakes and how I can fix them. I felt safe with him all the time in the ocean and he picked out only the best waves for me :) I never experienced such a chill but also professional atmosphere with a teacher, and he really helps you pushing yourself to achieve your goals. Amazing surfing instructor Curly at Canggu with me - Curly is an excellent, amazing, knowledgeable , experience surfing instructor!! He is patient, considerate, understanding, with great sense of humor who gives undivided attention to me at all times. Curly explained detailed instructions for a beginner like me. He watched & paid close attention to my return demonstration after his explaination, ensuring that I understand & ask any questions. The 7am surf was beautiful with just the right waves for beginners like me, love it!! His colleague took lovely photos on my surf, thank you! Water was provided as I left my water bottle at hotel, terimakasih. Curly & his team are wonderful people, important of all they are accommodating & friendly. Thank you Curly for sharing your early morning breakfast of satay with me! I had a fun lovely time, the feeling to stay on the board is the most wonderful feeling ever experienced at my age in my 50s’. I’m glad I swim regularly as part of my routine exercise in spite of my busy work schedule. That makes a difference to keep up with Curly during the two hours session. There is no doubt that I will come back again to Curly for more surf as Curly is the best surfing instructor I’ve ever met.

BEST SURF IN MY LIFE!!! - Curly is such a legend!! Don’t think twice and take that surf lesson with him. You will feel safe, adventurous and just have the best time of your life. I absolutely loved it and would recommend it to every beautiful soul out there who loves good jokes and a magic atmosphere. I feel so much appreciation for the great time. He is really the best teacher you can wish for, he knows the waves and the ocean is his second home.

Make you feel like a pro - I wanted to try out surfing in Canggu after hearing good reviews about the place from others surfers. However Inwas not confident in my surf skills having only done surfing a couple of times before. Having classes with Curly has been a good opportunity to polish my basics before wading out to the waves. Curly makes you feel like a pro as he constantly helps you catch the most perfect wave at the best timing so you hardly wipe-out! Recommend Curly to anyone who wants to build a strong surfing foundation and confidence in water. Will surely come back again!

Zero to hero! - I had the intention of getting comfortable in the water with a surfboard. Having zero experience beforehand, Curly really made this a fun experience and made sure to push me mentally while making sure I was enjoying it. Now I definitely feel comfortable enough to go by myself. 10/10
