Chef Putu and Yuni were excellent hosts for our class! - Fun market tour to the beach town of Jimbaran before cooking, back to Amala for the food preparation and class! Was a very fun time and we will be making this food again at home.

Great introduct to traditional Balinese food. - We enjoyed our trip to the fish and vegetable markets in the morning.The chef Putu was great. His assistants Sintya and Manik kept the kitchen clean so we could concentrate on the cooking.If you are keen to try the flavours of Balinese cooking I would recommend this cooking class.

Beautiful cooking class in a quiet serene environment. - Chef Sudarmika and his assistant Manik helped us to prepare our wonderful menu. He had heaps of patience with me as a first time cook with hardly any idea as to what was happening. He was more than happy to answer questions and gave us little tips and skills on preparing Balinese cuisine. Thanks to Dodee as well for the pick up and drop off from our hotel. This is something everyone should try at least once.

Authentic, Educational Cooking Class + Market Tour - Really amazing authentic experience. Very educational and overall interesting. We went to the fish markets and ingredient market where the Chef (Chef Putu) talked us through what we would be using and the importance of that product in Bali. Walking through the fish markets is a must (didn’t even smell that bad) and was very eye-opening. The class was very simple and easy, as Chef Putu + Assistant Wisnu went through all the ingredients and the steps. Plenty of food made and very delicious.

Authentic Balinese cooking class - This cooking school provides a great opportunity to experience cooking some authentic Balinese dishes that are tasty and able to be made back at home. Chef Kadek and his assistant Eka allowed us to be involved though the whole lesson and were really friendly and informative. After the meal is prepared you get to sit down and enjoy all the food you cooked in the class. I would recommend to anyone wanting an introduction to cooking authentic Balinese food. Thanks again Kadek and Eka for proving such an enjoyable experience

Amazing cooking class in a beautiful setting - From the moment we signed up for the cooking class, we were treated like royalty! Pamela sent a driver to pick us up at our hotel and we had a wonderful conversation and a very comfortable ride to the venue. Our chef, Mia and assistant were amazing and showed us many techniques for cooking Polynesian Way The class was very hands-on and we learned each of the many different spices used to make our dishes and how to prepare them. We prepared three separate dishes with an enough food for several days after the cooking was finished. They prepared a beautiful dinner table for us to enjoy the meal. We just created. The whole experience was amazing and we would recommend it to everyone.

Great experience! Loved the market. - Had a wonderful trip! Getting to see the fish market and see all the different types of seafood. The cooking class was fun and hands-on. Would definitely recommend doing the market tour for additional context on the ingredients. Thanks so much again, Chefs Sudarmika and Wishu!
