Highlights
- WINDY SUN surf school - You will learn how to stand up on the board and surf the waves. The first 20-30 minutes will take place in our class room where we will show you all you need to know about the ocean, it’s waves and currents as well as the surfboards and other materials you will be using. After that we will choose the right board for your surfing abilities and walk to the beach where we will explain about the ocean and waves conditions again to make sure you will be safe in the water. Once you dont have any more questions about the surfing environment and your material, it is time to show you the right position and how to stand up on the surfboard. This will take another couple minutes on the beach followed by practicing the “take-off”. Just before we hit the water, we will do a short, but necessary warm up to boost your performance and prepare your muscles for the upcoming activity. Our Instructors will be with you in the water and assist you to catch your first waves. Regular feedback from the instructors will help you progress faster. Back in the surf school, we wil go through the pictures taken during the lesson and give feedback to every single wave, so you get the most out of your experience!

Amazing surf school! - Surf lessons were great! A lot of theory at the beginning to understand the waves, the take off, current...very small groups. I was lucky and got almost every time a 1:1 lesson.
You get pictures every time and not just the good looking ones but a proper analysis what was good and what was bad.
Location: school is located very close to the beach. Great Surfspot for beginners (beachbreaks). I did not like Kuta so much and travelled around a bit, and they picked me up from so many different locations. Top!

Beginner Lessons with Greg 👌 - My Girlfriend and i stayed in Canggu for a week and we wanted to go for beginner lessons especially for her, she never stood on a board before. So we went to the best spot for beginners and that is definitively Kuta Beach. She got supplied with everything she needed from rashguard to sunscreen, board, towel, shower etc. The Surfschool is a 2 min walk to the beach and right on spot. She got a private lesson with a Surfinstructor who teached her first in thoery the essentiel knowledge she needed, followed by dry exercieces on the beach and practice in the water. Overall she was a bit scared by the green-waves and even by the whitewash, but with the calm and professinalism of the Instructor, she forgot about that pretty quick and stand her first few waves! It was a wonderful experience for her and made this vacation even more special. Great praise to the outstanding job and guidance that Greg performed 👍. Would highly recommend this Guy!

Cool school!!!! -
Excellent school for beginners and for more experienced surfers . The school provides everything you need: clothing , lockers, towels , shower , cream for skin protection . Very friendly and helpful staff . Instructor experienced, attentive , you feel their support. I advise everyone to try at least once to get on board . The school Windy Sun Bali Surf School you are sure to help make the first step )
