Embark on the adventure of discovering the Bacalar lagoon. On board our ranger 26, the Taan’ik (facing the wind in the Mayan language), we are at your disposal to offer you a unique experience. Visiting the lagoon of the 7 colors by sailboat will allow you to change perspective and discover the incredible shades of its crystalline waters.
The tour will begin at the Marina Bacalar pier, located on the coastal avenue. The crew will accompany you to the pirate channel, the Negro cenote, the Esmeralda cenote, the Cocalitos cenote, the bird island, and the abandoned hotel.

Best boat trip at Laguna Bacalar! - The best way to see the lagoon - went to some amazing swim spots, had some delicious fruit & beers, and Sarah & Benito were amazing hosts!! Would 100% recommend to friends, solo travellers or couples looking for an authentic and relaxing boat ride ☺️

Relaxing and Fun sail around the lagoon! - My friend booked this tour for us and I could not be happier with this experience. It was on a Sunday morning and we were lucky to have the boat all to ourselves. Sailing in Bacalar was my top excursion I did while there. I highly recommend it and sailing with Balacalar's Xperience made it all the more special. Sarah and German (Herman?) are expert sailers and I felt safe in good hands. This trip is perfect for someone who wants a chill and relaxing time on the lagoon. There was some information that was pointed out throughout the ride but this is the kind of experience where they will talk as much or as little as you desire. We got to visit two spots and go for a swim, The water is amazing. Afterwards, coming back they had some snacks and drinks for us. Life jackets provided as well.
Be sure to bring protective sun items (like a hat and something to cover) because sunscreen is prohibited in the Lagoon, we got a little burnt.

Sailing tour with lovely locals - Benito and Sarah are the best! I live in Bacalar and always book tours for my friends with them because I know they will get treated with excellent care. They are passionate about what they do and enjoy getting to know visitors. Benito is born and raised in Quintana Roo so you can learn a lot from him about the area and get real answers.

Charly was our captain... - Charly was our captain and was great. He really knew how to handle a sailboat and was knowledgeable of the Bacalar Lagoon. It was a very good afternoon and even though the clouds came in we saw a brilliant sunset.
