Amazing Family Bacalar Trip - This excursion was excellent! I was a little nervous because while I have been on many cruises and have done many excursions I have always used the excursions packages that the Cruise ships directly sell—this was my first private excursion booked with a third party. And now that I have gotten a taste of it and have experienced both I will likely never book an excursion again directly with the cruise line. They are so packed and you feel so rushed. The private bookings through companies like Viator are so much better! We were with a MUCH smaller group, there was time for customization and alterations (if there was something you wanted to see or do along the way) and just overall the whole experience felt more comfortable and better in every way. It felt like you were actually on a vacation with your family as opposed to being in a “museum tour” with a bunch of strangers. This excursion to Bacalar was amazing. Perfect in every way. The guide, Ms. Carol (a German girl living in Mexico!) was fantastic and made you feel safe and happy. If I could give it 10 stars I would. My family had a blast!

Well organized and fun.... - Well organized and fun. Adain took our orders on the way to lunch. Tasty street tacos. Quick drive to the marina and beautiful cruise through the lagoon with a stop for swimming.

I would do it again! - This was my second time on this excursion. I highly recommend it to people of all ages. We had a wonderful experience and got to enjoy the beauty of the area and local food. The transportation was very nice and we had a small size group with which we traveled. Our tour guide was accommodating and had snacks and beverages for us as we travel.

Wonderful Time - What a wonderful experience! The tour operator was easy to find with the map and directions. Carol, our guide, provided excellent customer service making sure each guest was taken care of with drinks and snacks. She provided interesting information regarding the founding of the port and city, local plants and animals, and towns along the drive. On the lagoon she provided information on the cenotes, pirates etc. We ate fresh pineapple and mango while floating in the lagoon. Our boat captain was great too! After the boat ride on the lagoon we enjoyed a taco lunch.

Best tour in Costa Maya - This lagoon is amazing!! The scenery, water temp, the service, it was all amazing. Leo was our guide and he gave 110% to try and make sure everyone is comfortable and having a good time. He prepared some delicious pineapple and watermelon snack as well as a drink je recommended. The pork tacos were the best as well. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Costa Maya!

Excellent - Everything went very smoothly. Got off port and they were already messaging us. They sent a map of meeting location about 5 minutes away. They were waiting with a sign with our name. They took us to the location in a new modern van with A/C. We stopped for lunch which is included then went to the lagoons. Got back to port on time. They are aware and therefore are flexible with the tour time. Totally worth every penny for the peace of mind.

Loved this excursion! - This was one of the best excursions we booked! It was easy to find the tour guide. Everyone was very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. They made the whole experience so amazingly enjoyable. I brought my 10month old baby. The boat ride was smooth. Our tour guide was very informative, helpful and attentive. They provided really good snacks, cold drinks, a shot of nice tequila for the adults and they served us a local pineapple which was exquisitely delicious. The lagoon was really nice! I was able to get my baby in the shallow clear waters. Oh I can't forget to mentioned that the lunch food was out of this world. We had tacos and the most delicious drinks with guacamole. We plan to make this a tradition.

Easy breazy beautiful - Fantastic! Pick up was super easy right outside the port. Air conditioned can for the 1hr 15 min drive to Bacalar. Stopped for fresh pineapple & mango along the way & Carol our fantastic guide cut it up for us in the water sprinkled with tajin. Carol shared a lot about wildlife, formation and history of both the lagoon & area. We stopped for amazing tacos on the way back. Definitely recommend Bacalar & this tour in particular.

Bacalar 7 colors Lake - It’s a long way out there but bus has A/C and guide did his best to talk about the area. Unfortunately we could not go onto the lake. It was so choppy and windy. We had lunch and asked when we could go back to cruise port. They had another bus coming but we couldn’t return until after 2pm. It took most of our day sitting around not doing much. This is not the tours fault as one can never depend on the weather. We were disappointed .
