Amazing wonderful day and evening - highly recommend - One of the best tours I have ever done in Australia. Simon was brilliant with his local knowledge and sharing his personal experiences and family connections to Paronella. The park is fascinating and the back story is amazing. It’s all so interesting..The night experience is beautiful with the light show and music. We were also very fortunate to have a small group of 5 and really lovely friendly people who all gelled well for a long tour. Also so very lucky to have seen 4 cassowaries strolling along the road on the way to Etta Bay. All in all such a great experience . thank you Simon and Renae for putting this tour together Briiliant. A true wonderful Paronella Park experience. Well worthwhile! - We were collected from our hotel in Palm Cove & began our full day's adventure. There was a Babinda Boulder bush walk, scenic tours of Innisfail & Mourilyan, afternoon tea stop (delicious fruit cake) at Etty Bay all the while being told the amazing tale about Jose Paronella by Simon (our very friendly & knowledgeable guide) Paronella Park was a glorious garden of wonder. Lush green tall trees, beautiful waterfalls (both the Mena Creek & Teresa Falls), fantastic fish fighting for food but the evening light show with stirring music was a highlight. We were so lucky to choose this tour be back for other explorations.

Perfection! - I recently celebrated my 60th Birthday with a huge weekend of experiences, a huge 60th Birthday Dinner, and a 'Mystery Tour' to wrap up the celebrations. I chose Tropic Tours to host my mystery tour because I had met Simon on a previous visit, and he seemed like a fun person. I had guests flying into Cairns from all over Australia and from overseas, so the pressure was on to ensure that the itinerary I put together was exciting, educational and, most importantly, fun! This day out to the extraordinary Paronella Park with Simon was exceptional! Renae (his partner) worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that bookings, hotel pick-up details, payments and all of my (and their) requirements ahead of the actual day, were facilitated perfectly. The big day arrived, and this tour did not disappoint on any level. Simon is not only a really lovely man to hang out with, but he is great driver (that's more important than many think), and he went out of his way to be inclusive, entertaining, educational and great company. We didn't feel 'herded', like you often do on days where arrival and departure times are important, but the day moved along at an easy pace, and the afternoon tea (cake made by Simon's Mum!) was delicious. I cannot recommend Tropic Tours more highly. Safe, educational, entertaining and great fun. It was the perfect way to wrap up my 60th Birthday celebrations, and I will always be grateful to Simon and Renae for making sure it went off without a hitch. Perfect!

Amazing experience. A definate must do when in Cairns. - Simon is very informative, knowledgeable and passionate about the area, which leads to a fantastic tour experience. Tour included the beautiful Babinda Boulders and learning about the Indigenous legend attached to it. Then on to Etty Bay where we were lucky enough to spot a male and female cassowary. The tour concluded with a day tour of the fabulous Paronella Park, dinner at the local country pub, then back to Paronella Park for the spectacular night light show. This tour is amazing and a must see when in Cairns.

FABULOUS TOUR....a must do experience! - We were lucky enough to have Simon all to ourselves, very personilsed tour. Simon was so informative, very interactive and really gave us a memorable day and night. The Paronella Park experience was truly magical, couldveasily do it all again today!!! Exceptionally awesome Paronella Park afternoon/evening tour. - “Man” our tour guide/driver provided a safe, highly informative and fun experience. His daughter, “H” came along with us. Both made us feel like family and we had a wonderful time. We highly recommend this tour with Mr. Man!

Unique tropical tour - a unique experience! . Simon was a safe driver and competent guide. He knows everything about the flora, fauna and history of the attraction and it's worth asking him questions. The tour is of the right length, incredibly varied and shows the unique beauty of the region Swimming aswell in a wonderful lake as in the ocean was really refreshing. My 7 year old daughter enjoyed it as much as I did. The night tour km Paronella Park was the highlight of our entire vacation. We also saw two casowaries - just incredible!

The best tourguide yet! - I cannot recommend Simon and his tours more. Not only was he incredibly kind, he also had amazing social and communication skills. He was smiley, entertaining, highly knowledgeable and incredibly passionate. I went into this tour with some, though limited knowledge on Paronella, I left with massive amounts of insight and new perspectives. His hospitality was delicious and was timed perfectly throughout the tour. He picked us up out the front of our hotel, and the best thing was that it was a small group (intentionally) which really allowed everyone to learn each other's names and get to know each other. I cannot recommend Simon enough. I will definitely be returning to do more of his tours in the future. Thank you Simon for an extraordinary day!
