Begin your day tour by visiting the Giza Pyramids, where you will see the Great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Then, visit the Valley Temple where the priests mummified the body of King Chephren. Here, you will also get a close-up view of The Sphinx, the legendary guardian with the body of a lion and the head of King Chephren, standing by the massive funeral complex.

Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, but the site has not been excavated. The valley temple was connected to a causeway, which was largely destroyed when the village was built.

Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple yielded several statues of Khafre, some of which were found in a well in the temple floor by Mariette in 1860. Additional statues were discovered during later excavations by Sieglin (1909–10), Junker, Reisner, and Hassan.

Pyramid of Menkaure - Menkaure’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also yielded several statues of Menkaure.

Great Sphinx - The Sphinx dates back to the reign of King Khafre. During the New Kingdom, Amenhotep II dedicated a new temple to Hauron-Haremakhet, which was expanded by later rulers.

The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Then, drive from the Giza pyramids to Cairo City Center to visit the Egyptian Museum, one of the largest museums in the world. It contains a vast number of real statues, and you will also be able to see the treasures of King Tutankhamun.
