Highlights
- PF5Q+4M Agua de Pau - This activity takes place in Caloura, a location known for its microclimate, fertile soil and wonderful coastal views, in the central-southern part of the island of São Miguel, which is approximately 20 minutes by car from the city of Ponta Delgada.
When we arrive, we will proceed with the distribution of equipment and the safety briefing. When ready, we will start our activity with a short walk along the coast through the irregular volcanic stones resulting from lava flows.
Challenge yourself on this adventure when exploring some caves, jumping and diving into the ocean, enjoying natural pools and inland bays. You can expect several jumps between 1 and 8 metres (some optional).
Explore the blue scenery of the Atlantic Ocean while snorkelling, discovering and admiring the marine biodiversity of this place.
NOTE: If you feel uncomfortable with the high jumps, there are alternatives.

Great company to go Coasteering with. - The staff were friendly and competent. My family have been coasteering before in Wales, Ireland and Cornwall and they loved the Azores version biggest jumps). As a mum, I can say they were safe, moving the venue to another place when the sea was too rough on the South side. And adapted for me as I got a bit scared at the big jumps - they showed me smaller jumps.

Fun jumps all the way. - I did a couple of tours with this company booked through a Maltese travel agent. All of the tours were amazing but this tour was maybe my favourite because it was really fun activity. I really enjoyed the jumps especially the last one because you need some concentration if you are not good at jumping like me. (Although I like jumping a lot.) The two Spanish guides were very nice and friendly (Can't remember the names). Also there was another two Riccardo and another woman were also very nice and friendly. For me if you visit São Miguel this tour is a must because it offers a lot of fun in a beautiful part of this magnificent island.

Adventures in the Sea - I must admit I was a little apprehensive about this tour but I knew my husband really wanted to try it so I agreed. The guides were fantastic! Joao and Jack made me feel at ease for the entire time. There were options to jump from smaller cliffs for those who didn’t want to make the big leaps. One highlight was being able to snorkel towards the end of the climbing. The water was beautiful and we were with a great group of people who made the day very enjoyable! This is a tour you should not miss!

Amazing Fun - Amazing morning in the ocean. Bruno our guide was a lot of fun and super relaxed. My fear of heights got the better of me on some of the higher jumps but he made me feel very relaxed about it all with no pressure at all. Loved it !

Amazing time! - Such an amazing time! A must do if you are on São Miguel Island. Our guide, Ricardo, was super relaxed and just wanted to make sure we had the best time. If we go back, we will be asking for him.
Jumping from the cliffs was exhilarating, while floating in the "washing machine" and getting "flushed out" was super fun!

Exciting tour with great guide and lots of Adrenaline - Had a super cool tour across rocks and water where we did some exciting climbing and high jumps off the cliffs with our awesome guide Ricardo who was super easy to talk to and gave us some local recommendations at the end of the trip :)
10/10 recommend!

Experiencing the ocean in a unique way - Our party of 9 had a wonderful coasteering experience! We ranged in age from 10 years old to 57 and this was a first-time experience for all of us. Our guides were kind, and knowledgeable and safety was a priority. Our journey took us to some cool locations and really allowed us to experience the ocean in a unique and fun way! Jumping off rocks was part of the experience, but the guides provided different levels each person could jump from and most times provided opportunities to climb down if someone was not comfortable. If you are up for a little adventure and enjoy the ocean...this is for you!

So worth it!! - The trip has been truly amazing. Our group consisted of 5 people and two guides. They made sure we had the perfect fitting gear and informed about safety regulations as well as possible hazards. The guides were super nice as well and picked us up and dropped us off at our RBNB.
The tour itself was stunning and we got to jump off cliffs as well as had enough time for a nice snorkeling trip at the beautiful seaside of São Miguel.
It is definitely a trip for young and old and I would say that the level of fitness doesn’t require a lot of fitness. So it is indeed absolutely worth even for beginners.
I would definitely book again with this group since the other companies have a lot larger groups and, though the same time frame.
