Azores Whale Watching TERRA AZUL
From Ponta Delgada city center by auto, head East along the coast and follow directions to Vila Franca do Campo. Once in Vila Franca do Campo, descend towards sea level and the Marina where our Base and Yellow Boats are stationed, and Free Parking can be found.

Great experience - Great experience, the guide was very informative and boat ride is exciting! Be careful if you have sea sickness!

Amazing whale watching experience - We had a amazing trip. We had the chance to see so many dolphins really close with the speed boat and our guide added so many interesting facts about the animals. It was quite informative.

A M A Z I N G !! - It was epic trip of my life !! First time seeing dolphins in such close distance ! Thank you Sandra for coordinating and filled us with so much information about the ocean and cetacean! Boat ride was absolutely amazing,

Must do attraction on the island, I cannot wait to do it again! - This is a lifetime experience, and I will do it again if I visit. The team is very helpful and welcoming, so booking is easy, and they give you all the info you need. Sandra is amazing and so excited, you get into the right spirit in no time. During the day, you get an amazing brief and all the instructions or advice possible. The tour itself is on a very comfortable boat, so even with a bit of fear of the ocean, you will be really comfortable. We were lucky to see False Killer Whales twice that day and a group of Common Dolphins. Father Ocean was generous that day :)

Wonderful Experience!!! - We had a wonder experience with Terra Azul. The educational part of the tour was very thought provoking. The boat was comfortable and the commentary was great. The guides did their best but we did not see any whales as January is not a good time but we did see many common dolphins. We were very impressed when the Captain stopped the boat twice to retrieve floating garbage. The crew were also considerate and helpful when one of the guests became ill. We plan to come back when we visit the Azores again.

Awesome! - The tour was AWESOME! The whole experience from the beginning to the end was perfect. I could see whales and dolphins, and also had a lot of information from the amazing guide. I recommend 100%.

Thank you Terra Azul team for an amazing experience - Everything was perfect! Everything is very well prepared and there's a lot of people involved to increase our chances of spotting cetaceous. We were very lucky and saw around 15 sperm whales, common dolphins and atlantic spotted dolphins. The marine biologist taking the tour is really nice and answers all kind of questions, she really is an expert and very passionate for marine life. Would recommend it 100%!! :) thank you!

Fantastic Trip with true experts on Whale & Dolphin watching! - One of the best run tours for Whale & Dolphin watching. This team of experts really knows how to run a great tour! From the explanations provided pre-boarding, to the smooth navigation by the skipper, to the explanation of the agenda and next steps during the trip, and finally to the summary provided at the end - it was excellent! There was another company - Picos de Aventura that I also used during my trip a couple of days earlier and unfortunately it was a disastrous experience in comparison to the Terra Azul team. If you really want a team of experts who not only know what they are doing AND treat the animals in the ocean with respect, my recommendation would be to go with Terra Azul.

Great fun. - Great day people super nice. The skipper of the boat was amazing. Also picked us up form the hotel. Didn’t see whales but some great dolphins.

Good tourist attractions - It was a good ride, the crew and guides are nice folks. Unfortunately we did not get to see whales but we saw a lot of dolphins. A pity that the guides know a lot about the animals but they should spend a little of time to ensure their English vocab is more precise.
