Love the Andalusian horseback ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Our guide and stable owner, Antonio was great!! What an experience to ride in a Spanish saddle on an Andalusian horse, through the olive groves. It was amazing! And being a ranch girl from Montana it was so nice not to be 'head to tail' on a string of horses. It could not have been better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

great horse riding first experience - One of a kind experience! I had a great guide with lots of patience and a very relaxed horse for my walk. The wall through the forest is beautiful and despite being my first time I felt very safe and at ease. Definitely an amazing experience that I want to repeat and totally recommend. Many thanks!💛🌹

Excellent horse riding experience - It was an awesome experience. Dani who owns the place is a true professional and he made us feel at ease and his crew that included two young men both named Pablo helped us as well. My wife and I were beginners and they made sure that we are comfortable. Horses were well trained and were a joy to ride. We wanted a real experience and wanted to be away from tourist attractions for a day at least to experience the country side. We rode through the fields and olive orchards and found the experience relaxing. At the end, Dani gave us a tour of his house and garden and we met with his pets as well. When leaving we asked for a local place for dinner and Dani recommended El Carro. We had a real good dinner with fresh fish bbq, freshly baked bread and salads. Overall, it a great experience and we highly recommend it.

Fantastic riding on lovely horses between olivetrees! - My daughter (age 13) and I was picked up at our hotell in Sevilla, it was a 20 min drive to tha ranch. The owner, Daniel, welcomed us and showed us around his stable. It was tidy, clean and nice and beautiful horses were housed in two barns. Daniel told us about his background, the ranch and the different horses, he asked us about our experience with horses and chose horses accordingly. We warmed up the horses for 10 minutes and got to know them, before we rode out into the field. Daniel was very strickt about safty, we worn new helmets and were told to tell him if something felt wrong or if we felt uncertain on the horse. He showed us different olives and guided us through a stunning contryside. We trotted and cantered in the open fields and really had an unforgettable experience

Such a nice experience and only 30 mins from Seville - The horse riding was so lovely! You ride around a little in the ranch to familiarise yourself with the horse and then ride off into the olive fields which is amazing! Dani our guide was so lovely and told us lots about the area. We were lucky that it was just the two of us! DEFINETLY WORTH IT! TIP: make sure you take you phone with you on the horse if you can. He will take pictures of you and send them to you, but if you want pictures of the scenery etc. bring it with you! Ps. there lots of very cute cats!

Best first time horse riding experience! - We were picked up at our hotel on time, and it was a comfortable ride there and back! Very friendly driver! - This was our first time sitting on a horse and can happily say we enjoyed it very much, at first we thought it would be daunting but our tour guide Inma was very calm and reassuring. The horses were lovely and well behaved! Personally loved the horse chosen for me as a first time rider. We were given a beautiful tour through the farm, olive trees and witnessed the orange trees. Loved every bit! And our tour guide Inma made it a fun memorable and interesting tour! Will definitely recommend as a break from sightseeing and the city.

Country experience - We enjoyed our experience of horse riding around the farming area, very quiet and relaxed in a small group. It would have been enhanced if we had some commentary from our guide but he had minimal English. This didn’t detract from the day though & all staff were friendly. Pickup and drop off to our accomodation was ok. I would recommend this activity for anyone wanting an easy day out in the countryside.

WARNING... THIS COMPANY CRIPPLED MY WIFE AND BROKE MY ARM!!! - With this company, you’re “Not Just a Tourist”, Your A Victim!!! Here’s our experience with horseback riding under Not Just a Tourist!!! My wife and I have rode horses for decades and never had a problem. As my wife and I headed out on our ride with the ranch owner Daniel Gil, he decided to invite his “Team”, two yellow Labrador dogs to accompany our ride. It was just the three of us and his dogs. The ride through the olive groves was starting out great until about 15 minutes into our ride. Daniel was riding in front leading us when he turned to me and said “I guess you notice my dogs disappeared?” I said yes, where they go? Daniel answered “They like to go swimming in the river when they come along on the rides.” Then he stopped his horse a spoke in a very serious voice... “I NEED TO WARN YOU, SOMETIMES AFTER MY DOGS GO SWIMMING, THEY COME BACK UP THE HILL AND RUSTLE THE BUSHES CAN STARTLE THE HORSES, SO CHOKE UP ON YOUR REIGNS!!!” So immediately my wife and I choked up on our reigns and here came his dogs... my horse reared up, went back down, then reared up a second time flipping over backwards throwing my to the ground breaking my left arm humerus in half!!! At same time my wife’s horse spun around to run back to the barn, throwing her off causing a permanent debilitating back injury in her lower lumbar L-2 vertebrae. Daniel left us on the trail in the hot sun half an hour to put the horses up and get a car to take us to the local hospital San Juan De Dios where he abandoned us to care for all the expenses. We never saw him again! The woman owner of Not Just a Tourist called me several times while we were in the hospital, not to check up on us, but to remind me that we signed a release form and that they weren’t responsible. DANIEL GIL, owner of the horse ranch IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS NEGLIGENCE FOR INVITING HIS TWO YELLOW DOGS ON OUR RIDE KNOWING THEY COULD UPSET OUR HORSES AND CAUSE US HARM WHICH THEY CERTAINLY DID!!! HE KNOWINGLY PUT US INTO ADDITIONAL DANGER BEYOND THE NORMAL HORSEBACK RIDE!!! We had to ask Not Just a Tourist repeatedly for a refund which they were apprehensive and very slow about giving. She didn’t want to give our money back!!! After surgery and months of recuperating, 7 months now, my arm is still healing. My wife is now permanently disabled and in daily pain due to Daniels negligence!!! We filed a lawsuit through a Spain lawyer against Daniel Gil and Not Just a Tourist, but DANIEL GIL LIED AND SAID HIS DOGS WERE NOT ON THE RIDE WITH US, SEE ATTACHED PICS!!! To date, we are out $20,000 out of pocket for medical expenses for my wife and I, WITH INSURANCE!!! Also, Not Just a Tourist is hiding behind their Waiver which in Spain protects the business, not the customer. So the lawsuit under Spanish law is a joke. SO NOW WE WANT TO WARN EVERYONE ABOUT “NOT JUST A TOURIST” AND DANIEL GIL, RANCH OWNER & HORSEBACK TOUR GUIDE... IF YOU HAVE AN ACCIDENT UNDER THESE PEOPLE, YOU WILL BE ABANDONED, YOU WILL NOT HAVE LEGAL RECOURSE, YOU WILL SUFFER FOR THE TEST OF YOUR LIFE WHILE THESE PEOPLE CONTINUE BUSINESS AS USUAL. WARNING... DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO ACCEPT THEIR NEGLIGENT ACTIONS AND ANY HARM THEY CAUSE YOU... YES, THIS CAN HAPPEN TO YOU TOO!!!
