Great experience ! - We had a great tour in Châteauneuf du Pape, with a very qualitative visit to the cellars. Our guide was very professional and very kind.

The serious side of wine beautifully presented - Very knowledgeable and friendly guide This was not just a quick look at a couple of vineyards and straight into tasting, rather it was an in depth look at the region, domain and science of the wine making. Which was a vey pleasant and informative experience

perfect afternoon wine tour - Sylvie gave an excellent tour for our small group of 8. She was very charismatic and gave just the right amount of background and context of the area and the wines. A simply ‘wine‘derful experience!! - The chateauneuf du pape sommelier was extremely informative, and we tasted exquisite red wines. Also, chateauneuf du pape does not export their white wines, so getting a chance to taste one of their whites was excellent. Getting a chance to view the castle of chateauneuf du pape was a dream as well. Tavel’s rosé was divine, and we ended up buying some to take home with us. Mark’s commentary during our van ride showed his high level of experience and knowledge of wine industry and wine production in the area. I would recommend this excursion to everyone!

Excellent if you have no car, want to visit Chateauneuf du Pape and buy some wine. - Christian was an excellent tour guide; very considerate, attentive to the experience & needs of the group. Sharing fascinating snippets of information from the outset - he also went above & beyond - demonstrating his real love of Avignon, Marseille, it’s history and appreciation of the wine. Thank you Christian! I have not given 5 stars as I hoped to see and learn more about the vines or how they treated the grapes; although we did learn a little more at Chateauneuf du Pape - about grape varieties, the terroir and the steps involved in tasting the wine. To me, the experience felt a little too much like a guided shopping experience…but I would still recommend a tour with Christian - as he made it something more :)

Poor choice of grower undermined what could have been a good tour. - It was a disappointing tour and provided poor value for money. Our host was excellent I should add. But the wine visit was lead by a young man with poor English. In addition the tasting was in a reception area, so while we were being told about the wines we had the sound of a guest having checkin issues. All very distracting when put alongside the poor English spoken. Maybe I would have a different opinion if we had visited a different winemaker. So all in all, disappointing,
