Beerburg Brewing - Featuring ingredients foraged from their land, these brews are often limited in nature, making each one special and truly one-of-a-kind. Beerburg is a place where all are welcome; whether you’re visiting for a post-work beer, hanging with four legged friends, or enjoying time outside with the family.
Taqueria La Violeta, much like Beerburg, draws from the land with sustainable and ethical practices in mind. Authentic and inspired, many of the recipes stem from Ricardo’s grandmother, who ran the kitchen at the family restaurant for over 40 years and informed his approach to cooking.
Authentic, sustainable, and ethically sourced, if they can make a dish in-house from scratch, they will. At the end of the day, each dish, from the salsas to the ice cream is intended to be enjoyed alongside the beer.

Venture away from the busy city of Austin and embark on an exciting journey to the Texas Hill Country! Located about 35-45 minutes south-west of Austin, the Fitzhugh district is your destination. This half-day shuttle trip will introduce you to craft beer and spirits at three (3) premier breweries and distilleries in the region: Beerburg Brewing, Treaty Oak Distilling, and Family Business Beer Co.
We’ll serve as your responsible driver! A friendly local host will guide you through the journey in a comfortable Mercedes Sprinter van. And don’t forget to bring your appetite, as each location boasts a tantalizing array of food options such as pizza, tacos, and BBQ. Please note that food and drinks are not included.

Amazing Brewery Tour with Jax - Absolutely fantastic! Jax is a superb host who knows how to bring 10 strangers to friendships status. Loved her expert knowledge of beer, spirits and historical facts about Texas. We are planning future trips and will ask for Jax by name!

Best 4 hours of our trip - The stops were wonderful but our guide was awesome! He helped everybody get to know each other and keep us all engaged. He made a point of talking to all of us at each stop to answer questions take pictures, pretty much anything we needed. Evan was the best we couldn’t have been any happier.

Fun afternoon tour with the best tour guide Evan!! - Our brewery bus tour was so fun. Evan really made the tour a great one with his energy, his humor knowledge of Austin and recommendations. I cannot say enough good things about him. The tour stopped at 2 breweries and one distillery. My favorite was the distillery…had a really cool vibe. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a fun afternoon!

Don't pass up the opportunity to experience the Brewery Tour with Jax! - We had an amazing time! Our week-long visit to Austin prompted us to explore beyond the bustling city, and the Brewery Tour with Jax turned out to be incredibly enjoyable. Joining forces with another couple and a family of four, all strangers at first, we heeded Jax's prediction and indeed left the tour as newfound friends. Jax's lively energy and optimistic attitude left a lasting impression on us. I highly recommend this tour.

Great Tour and Guide - The tour was a great chance to learn a bit about downtown Austin as well as to visit a few breweries and a distillery. The selection of locations was excellent. The best part I’d the tour was our guide Evan. He was very knowledgeable and very personable, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

Great activity for girls trip!! - We did the tour with Evan who was so much fun and great with our group of 9 ladies! The breweries we stopped at had some excellent beer/food and we even pivoted when one was too crowded! He gave us a lot of “Austin local” recommendations too so would recommend doing this on your first day so you have some good ideas where to go! Will definitely be back soon! Thank you Austin Detours and Evan!
