This magical 2.5-hour kayak journey through the city center begins with a paddle along the length of the Austin skyline during the golden hour, followed by a pause to enjoy the sunset.
We then position ourselves for prime bat viewing and deliver a talk about the bats just before they take flight. We typically time the bat flight perfectly to give you more opportunity to see the rest of the skyline.
On your return journey, we recommend leisurely paddling, taking several breaks to watch as the city lights flicker on and the skyscrapers light up.

We meet under the I-35 bridge near 5 East Ave. There is free parking under the bridge. park and then walk to the water's edge. We are the group with red kayaks and blue paddles.

Family Fall Break Trip - This was a great experience for our family, who like to be active on vacations (2 teenagers).
Aaron was very communicative — especially as we kept an eye on weather. We opted for the paddleboards over the kayaks, which, while we had never done them, were very easy to navigate and kept all 4 of us together. Appreciated being on the water where we could actually see the bats (as opposed to standing on the bridge).
Aaron also sent a list of recommendations to do in Austin and was spot on. We especially enjoyed Terry Black’s BBQ.

Excellent - Excellent tour! Communication, instructions were top notch and it was super easy to park, get into the kayaks, etc. the experience itself is incredible and shouldn’t be missed on a trip to Austin
