Perfect tour! - The tour guide customized the tour to whatever we wanted to see. He even made it possible for us to see the troll in Peas Park. He took us to Mt Bonnell, the library rooftop, and was so patient when we came out of the library gift shop late. We had the best time! I highly recommend this tour!

Great choice if you don't know where to start your Austin experience. - We had an agreeable and experienced guide, John III, who happens to have a music background as well. He followed a very good pace giving us a chance to really learn about and enjoy all the venues that we visited!

Tour great but replace the van shocks!!! - John was great, very knowledgeable and entertaining. Excellent tour. Van another story, Nice vehicle but “shot” shocks made for a very bumpy and uncomfortable ride (Like a 3rd world van)

Our driver ran 2 red... - Our driver ran 2 red lights and made a couple of political comments that, although they may resonate with some, were pretty inappropriate in general. The building and sights we visited were fine.

Disappointed - Tour guide was really nice but only stopped at the state capitol and then a driving tour. I think she may have been new and confused not sure. I saw the itinerary was subject to change so didn't say anything but realized afterwards that "Mt. Bonnell" was in the name of the tour and we didn't even go. We didn't go to the murals, barton springs, the pennybedder bridge or Mt. Bonnell as mentioned in the trip advisor "what to expect". Was very disappointed as we only stopped once.

Did NOT see enough of Austin for the price!!!e - John was our guide and very knowledgeble about the capitol but spent way over an hour there on every floor and too much time on paintings etc. We learned nothing about everything outside. On the entire tour he talked too much about himself (I also read that in another review) and the music he is involved in. We were picked up after 1 and not back until about 4 30 and we only did inside state capitol, Mt Bonnelli, a Texas mural and coffee shop and some information driving between these places. In your information tour was to include Pfluger bridge and Pennybacker bridge (which I asked about and he made excuses about not much to see and not going there. I believe he spent way too much time at capitol and then not time to stop other places which were to be included. Information said entry fees included but there were no entry fees as these all free. He drove a new Mercedes van that he did not know how to get air conditioning to the back seat and was very warm that day so not too comfortable. This is an expensive tour (including a tip) as I had a group of 4 at $109 per person and really did not see alot except the capitol and you can go there and get a free tour yourself. I really expected to see alot more of Austin and was very disappointed!

Terrible experience - We did not have a good experience on this tour. Our guide, who never even introduced herself so I can't tell you who to avoid, only stopped at the capital. The rest of the tour was in a car, no stops anywhere. No Mount Bonnell, no nothing. We could have rented a car and done our own thing much cheaper as the capital offers free tours. Don't waste your time with this. I put a complaint in with viator but I doubt they will do the right thing and return my money. Our 3 hour tour was an hour and a half with probably 40 minutes of it at the capital.
