Highlights
- Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail - You will take an amazing tour of downtown Austin and see a variety of buildings, architecture, artwork, and wildlife. A few buildings of note include the Austin City Hall, Austin Public Library, the current and future Google buildings, and a multitude of hotels.
Our guides are each a bit different from one another in what they display on their tours. However, they each have a wide range of knowledge on the buildings, history of the lake, ecology of the surrounding area, and several pieces of artwork you can see from the water.

- Bring sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, waterproof camera, bottle water, bug repellent, towel, and extra change of clothes
- Operates in most weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- Recommend you wear swimsuit, windbreaker jacket, or lightly layered synthetic clothing

East Avenue
We will meet under an overpass/I-35 and launch from there. There is plenty of parking in the area! If you have any trouble with the location please put 7 East Ave in to get as close as possible. When you come to the water we'll be on the left hand side of the shoreline.

Wonderful tour, I’d recommend it - Reid was amazing! He was very knowledgeable about the city, Lady Bird Lake, the bat bridge, etc. My husband and I had a wonderful time and highly suggest doing a kayak tour with him. The lake was very smooth the day we went which was nice. We got to see a lot of ducks, birds and turtles.

Fun Experience - Arrive early to find parking. The parking under the bridge was full but we found free parking along the street following the park.
After that, great experience. The kayaks weren’t fancy but sturdy and easy to use. If you are comfortable in a canoe, this will be easy for you. Our guide was flexible to our needs and was focused on safety first. It was a fun way to learn about the city and their bats!

10 out of 10! - Our Tour Guide Reid was very knowledgeable about the Austin city skyline along the tour. Not just about the tour but about the city of Austin in general, He had so many great recommendations for us to try while we were in Austin. Reid made us feel like we were out on the water with a friend, definitely did not feel like a boring tour. 10 out of 10!

Great tour of Lady Bird Lake (Texas Colorado River) Austin - The Kayak tour itself was great and our guide JT did a great and entertaining job of enlightening us about the local river/lake/Austin skyline and it's history. We were a bit disappointed that we weren't able to experience the early morning Tranquility Tour that we signed up for due to a shortage of staff, so we got moved to a later tour. Also a bit disappointed about how much litter and trash was at our launch point on the river (not the tour company's fault) ... but did detract some from what could be a very beautiful environment.

Not exactly what I expected - Was nice to kayak. Seems like it was only 1hr and 30 minutes. A little shorter than the stated 2 hours. Our guide was nice however I would have expected more about the history of Austin and of Lady Bird Lake. It was not much detail from how how I read the description of how this trip would be
