The Driskill - Enjoy a stroll through the lobby of the historic and haunted Driskill Hotel! This unparalleled Austin landmark was built in 1885, opening Christmas Eve 1886. During this 15 minute stop, you will learn the bittersweet story of the founder, Jesse Driskill, and how his iconic hotel fits into the tapestry of Austin’s past…and present.
And of course, no trip to the Driskill would be complete without a ghost story or two…:) - Congress Avenue - Our tour strolls the historic sidewalks and pubs of Congress Avenue. Easily the most recognized Street in Texas, Congress Avenue has amazing stories to share. Telling them over a good drink, even better!
- 6th Street - The last stretch of our pin walk is down Austin’s world famous 6th Street! Experience the fun and energy of “dirty sixth” as we seek out one of Austin’s excellent live music pubs.

Our top-rated pub narrators will lead you on a journey through some of Austin’s lesser-known watering holes, all the while regaling you with interesting tidbits from Austin’s history starting from the 1870s, and of course, a couple of chilling ghost stories! This tour of approximately three hours will take you to four select pubs in Austin. Here’s what’s on the agenda:

Cool places, excellent cocktails, and interesting stories - Our guide, Jake, was a local comedian and great fun and personable. We went to the coolest bars/pubs that are historic and relevant to Austin. These are places that we most likely would not have visited otherwise. (I’m not revealing what bars we went to; you’ll have do the crawl yourself and discover the secrets.)

History and booze? Sign me up! - This tour was exactly what we were looking for — history with cocktails! We really enjoyed the bars we went to and learned about the history of early Austin. Will was an amazing tour guide and stayed with us longer than scheduled. We went on a slight Austin serial killer tangent and it was fascinating. Be sure to ask him about it!! Highly recommended.

Fun tour with excellent host - William was an excellent host. We visited a number of bars. At least two of which you’d mostly likely walk past unless taken. They were all really cool places. So glad I did tour and would definitely recommend.

Spooky Ghost Stories - Awesome tour guide. Very knowledgeable and kind. The stories were very interesting and it was so fun getting to learn about the history of Austin. 10/10 will be back!

Great tour for our girls trip! - This tour was great, William was such a cool guide. The places we visited were really unique and had very interesting history. We would have never found these places on our own. Definitely recommend.

Hidden Gems and Rock,Paper,Scissors - Will was amazing!!! We really enjoyed the hidden gems and the stories that were told. Having just one other couple in our small group was the perfect size. Late night take away pizza was bomb! From getting a look into a spooky bowling alley to playing rock, paper, scissors with a bartender to get the code for entry into a hidden bar. The whole experience was so fun!!!
