Our live music tours are led by local comedians, artists, performers, and music enthusiasts. You’ll ride in style a Mercedes Sprinter van. Get out of downtown and see the real Austin. The duration of this tour is roughly three hours. During that time frame, you’ll visit 3 (three) different venues and be back around 11pm. This tour simply rocks! If you enjoy fun people, live music, and learning about the city of Austin, this is the tour for you. Please check in with the Austin Detours tour guide in front of the concierge desk of the Hilton Austin Hotel, located at 500 E. 4th St.

With a whopping 270+ live music stages, Austin holds the title of the World’s Live Music Capital! A good number of these stages are nestled in neighborhoods, not just in the city center. Join a native Austinite on an exploration to discover some of Austin’s hotspots while enjoying live music across the city!
Experience live performances at not one, not two, but three distinct venues. Admission costs/cover charges are all taken care of. The performances and venues are quintessentially Austin, although they differ in genre, capacity, aesthetics, and location.

Austin Music Crawl is a Music Lover's Dream - Holy cow! This was an excellent peek at Austin's music scene. I'm a musician, and I was a bit worried that the tour would take us to the party scene on East Sixth. Nope. We hit the real joints. Ike was great: funny, friendly, informative. Hell, he remembered everyone's names. He even sent links to other stuff that I asked him about. What a great ambassador for Austin, the music scene, and your company. And the driver was wonderful, too. The van was terrif and cozy. The other folks on the tour were fellow travelers. This tour did not disappoint. It lived up to the marketing and exceeded our expectations.

Great Tour - This tour was such a blast. Our tour guide was Ike and Brent was our driver. They helped us to sample everything from 80's rock to country to blues in small, intimate clubs we would never have found on our own. This is a great way to experience a bit of the Austin Music Scene.

Fun night - Fun and informative small group venture around SoCo live music halls. Our drivers were great! Very friendly and easy going. Thanks Brent and Holden.
Great communication prior to tour and On time. 3 venues all very different. C boys with blues my favorite one, Broken Spoke dance hall great 2 step dancers to watch or join in. Note: use the toilet prior to this venue.
The Continental Club had a fabulous band with a woman fiddle player who was incredible! Overall had a Great time. Would definitely recommend.

Great sampling of Austin music scene - Our guide Ike and our driver Brent were personable and fun. Ike is a musician and shared lots of Austin music scene stories about the performers and places we visited. The trip was well-organized - we visited 3 different types of venues with 3 different types of music. Very enjoyable!

Don’t Drive on Your Own to Music, Take this tour….In and Out of 3 venues in one Night, Super! - Our group of 7 on a girls trip had limited time in Austin and we wanted to get a taste of venues and music…..this tour gave us what we wanted! Easy peasy, Keltti and Max our guides were energetic, fun, insightful, friendly. Ten in a van was the perfect size to get us where we wanted to go, in and out of 3 venues all with different music and vibes. Kudos to Max to get us out on the dance floor of the Broken Spoke for some two-stepping! Fab tour, fab fun!

Variety of music venue - This was a great tour if you love all kinds of music . We went to three different Venus . All were a blast and with unique history .

Dons just great music all the way around . Elvis ... ride sally ride .. lol then what a surprise . Cboys had a crazy good u usual funk band . Very unique . I would like to see the guide on the bus talking about more history of music and maybe even pass by a couple of the historic music venues. I also think there should be some great loud, live music playing in the bus and it be really cool if with the ticket price you got one drink ticket voucher Otherwise if you want to try three completely different kinds of music all far apart, this was pretty fun.

Straight Up Best Tour in Austin - If you love music and want to experience first hand 3 completely different venues and musical styles then book this immediately! The tour is basically private with amazing guides that escort you to local neighborhoods each having a personality of their own. Gives you a great sense of the actual layout of Austin and an introduction to some of the best music in the City. Huge thanks to our guides for making the evening so special.

The Highlight of My trip to Austin - This tour with Jax was THE highlight of my weekend trip to Austin with two girl friends. She took us to places we would never have found on our own. It was a convenient and safe way for older single women to experience to Austin music scene. We got to visit three different venues each with unique music styles. We even did a little two-stepping.

Great night with good music - We went to Austin for a couples trip. Beautiful city with lots to do. Music is center here so we decided to have a guided tour.
Jax and Holden were our guides. Great people and personalities.
We went to 3 different venues from honkeytonk to African beats to rock.
Was a great Mercedes bus and was clean and comfy.
Was a great 4 hours seeing some venues that we wouldn’t have thought to go to.
Great night on the town.
