Are you on a quest for an economical and entertaining trip to the iconic Salt Lick BBQ and a pair of picturesque Texas Hill Country wineries? Your search ends here! Our Hill Country BBQ and Wine Shuttle is perfect for individual travelers, couples, and small groups. The shuttle sets off from the Austin Visitor Center at 10:30AM towards Driftwood region of the Texas Hill Country, which is roughly 35-45 minutes to the southwest of Austin. Travel in comfort aboard a Mercedes Sprinter van accompanied by a friendly local guide. Spend around 45-50 minutes at each location. Please note that the cost of food/drinks is not included in the shuttle price; guests are required to pay on their own at the restaurant and wineries.
- Tour departs from the AUSTIN VISITOR CENTER located at 602 E. 4th Street, Austin, TX 78701.
- Minimum drinking age is 21 years old.
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to start time for check in. We are unable to delay the tour for guests who arrive late.
- Parking is available in the Austin Convention Center Garage which is connected to the Austin Visitor Center. Enter the garage on E 5th St between Red River and Sabine.
- The tour runs rain or shine, however we reserve the right to cancel the tour in the event of extreme weather and/or hazardous road conditions that would potentially affect the safety of our guides and guests.
- Guests with limited mobility are welcome to bring a wheelchair or portable scooter on board to be folded and placed in the rear of the van. The vans are not equipped with a ramp or wheelchair lift however, so all guests must be able to step up into the vehicle (about 12 inches).
- If you have cold or flu-like symptoms or if you are feeling ill in any way, please do not join the tour.

Great experience!! - Booked a last minute tour and had a great time. Loved the small group setting. Brent was knowledgeable and courteous. He made sure we were comfortable and we'll taken care of - we felt like we were travelling with a friend. We were impressed by Brent's knowledge of the area and loved his colorful stories. Really enjoyed our trip!

Delicious wine and food - Brent gave great history and gave us some laughs on the way! Food was great as was the wine. I met some great people who were welcoming as I was travelling on my own.

Wine tour and BBQ…book this tour!!! - The tour was so much fun! Salt lick was yummy and the winery’s were beautiful and fun! Easy to book! The best thing about this tour was our tour guide, Holden! He was so knowledgeable, funny, nice and went out of his way to make sure we had a great time!

Fun- wine was way better than expected! - So fun! The wineries were great and the wine was way better than expected. Our guide was awesome and kept us all on track. Although Salt Lick BBQ was a cool place to see, the food was mediocre at best.

Take the Hill Country BBQ & Winery Shuttle!!! (and make sure that Joey is your tour guide...) - OMG - what an amazing tour. Joey, our tour guide, was amazing - there was only 1 other couple on our tour, and my friend and I hit it off very well with them!

Wine tour & more - It was a lovely drive to an area we were unaware of as newcomers to Austin. Trace was an A+++guide who was informative & full of great information & had a wild & wonderful sense of humor.He was engaging & answered all our questions & more. One of our favorite things to remember this trip by for sure!!!
