They also offer a rotating selection of seasonal and experimental beers, ensuring there’s always something new to try.
- Celis Brewery - In the Spring of 1992, Pierre Celis flew from Belgium to the United States to start a new brewery in the great state of Texas. No one suspected that he carried something very precious, concealed in his tube socks. It was the original yeast strain Pierre had been using to brew his world-famous Belgian-style Wit beer for the past 30 years. And there was no way he was going to brew without it. Today Celis brewery, now owned by Pierre’s daughter Christine, and their flagship Celis White are an Austin staple. Average travel time between breweries is 15-30 minutes, depending on traffic.

Loved this tour!!! - Jeff and his coworker James were amazing. VERY knowledgeable about beer, the Austin history and brewery scene. They were very fun to be around and made the tour very enjoyable! This tour is a MUST if you're visiting Austin and enjoy a good beer!
We loved learning about the beers, breweries, and brewing process!

Recommend! - Jeff was great and very knowledgeable, friendly, and just nice to be around! Drinking beer itself is great but it’s nice to drink it with more context to the art of crafting beer.

City Brew Tours w/ Jeff was so fun! - My friend and I had a girl’s weekend in Austin and wanted to do some kind of brewery tour, so we decided on this one. We had such a great experience. Jeff, the owner of the Austin branch, was very knowledgeable about beer and Austin. We went to 3 different breweries, and each one was amazing in their own ways. The samples were the perfect amount, and was overall a great experience.

Touring Austin Breweries - The tour guide is really awesome in showing us his top favorite breweries. Really had a blast knowing what to drink as he explained every single drink that he brought to us to try. Awesome tour and really appreciate his time and effort for it.

Yes, book it! - I booked this tour as an early 30th birthday gift for my husband. He has a love for breweries and while I usually tag along I was pleasantly pleased as well! Jeff was a wonderful tour guide. Taking the time to explain and share not only the history of the beer we tasted but the history of beer in general! He provided hospitality at its finest as he poured each of our drinks, provided tips on what food to pair, tidied plates for us, and even got the bus pulled up and freshly AC’d for us! I fully recommend this tour it was informative, well run, and most importantly the beer was GREAT!

Definitely recommend - We had a great time doing this tour! Our guide Jeff was super knowledgeable and easy to talk to. We were taken to 3 breweries and served about 3-4oz of 4 different beers so definitely not enough to get drunk, just for tasting and enjoying which was smart. lol. Got behind the scenes at one of them so that was pretty cool. You have the option to get food and more drink at your stops if available and if time permits. Fun time for sure!
