An Absolute Must - Our time on Waiheke Island was amazing. Nicky, our tour guide, took us around the galleries on the main road of the island and if felt like walking through a large, live outdoor art museum. We also visited a sanctuary garden and looked over scenic country and beach views of Waiheke. We learned so much about its rich history, as well as the current lifestyle of the locals. By far, this was the best part of our Australia/New Zealand trip.

Great visit - We spent a very pleasant day with Nicky who walked us through the streets of this magnificent island, combining the most spectacular views with visits to artist galleries. All accompanied by multitudes of comments. I recommend for art lovers.

Seeing art works on Waiheke Island - It was an extraordinary tour. Gabrielle made me feel like she was showing me her own island and the artworks and artists on it. I have traveled to many countries, and this was one of the most memorable tours I’ve ever had. Thank you Gabrielle for giving me such a special day.

Gardens and artists - The tour was very interesting and we did things that would not have been possible on our own. Lunch with the artist at an artist’s studio and home was very special. The Sacred Blessing Sanctuary gardens were spectacular and one of the highlights of our three week expedition to both islands. A wonderful day trip from Auckland with delightful people.

Waiheke Art Tour - Our guide Tracey was fabulous! Not only did she take us to see some amazing artists and their work, but she added in an extra Artist as we'd expressed an interest in their work.

Unique combination of art, nature and life on Waiheke Island - I really enjoyed my walking art tour with Walking By Nature. It was a leisurely day wandering between galleries and studios while hearing about life on the island as well as NZ history and current affairs - our conversation over the course of the day took many twists and turns which was wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting various artists and getting firsthand insights about their work. Highly recommend!

New Zealand Adventure - The art walk was an interesting group of New Zealand artists. It was quite a bit of walking and some uphill however the tour guide really went out of her way to accommodate since it was more walking than we expected( 2 of us were over 80 years old). She obtained her boss' car, which we did not expect, and took us between some of the places and also to 3 artist's homes. We had lunch( the guide had purchased sandwiches earlier) at the third home. All in all it was a great day. We did tip, which is not necessary, because of the auto which was not part of the deal. Even then she said it was not necessary but we insisted ! EXCELLENT DAY !!!!!!

Fantastic combination of nature and art - I loved my walking tour with Justine! We visited a specially curated selection of art galleries and studios in artists homes. It was delightful to meet the various artists and see their creative spaces. After a delicious lunch at one of the studios, the tour shifted to the exploration of local nature, birds and trees along one of Waiheke's many walking trails. Justine's knowledge of both the art and nature of the island was so impressive, and it was a pleasure to spend a few hours with her on my visit. Two thumbs up for this experience!

Art Walk on Waiheke - I did the Art Walk on Waiheke last weekend and really enjoyed it. Michael and Justine, our guides, were friendly and enthusiastic about the island and its many artists. We visited the art gallery and other art storefronts, but they also brought us to the homes of various artists who I would not have known to visit on my own, and we had lunch at the beautiful home of artist Gabriella Lewenz. On top of all this we did quite a bit of walking. Michael also gave me lots of ideas for other activities while on the island, which I really appreciated.
