Our rendezvous point is at the Half Moon Bay pier adjacent to the boat launch area.
Departures are typically at 7:00 AM, varying with the chosen package and time of year.
Feel free to bring your own angling equipment, though we also provide additional gear for rent at $20.
Remember to pack some snacks, drinks, and warm attire, along with suitable shoes.
Ample parking is available in the vicinity.
Make sure to have a large cooler ready for the bounty of fish you’ll land. It’s best to keep the cooler in your vehicle for transport home since we offer ample storage for your catch on board.

Our Captain is an extraordinary character, a kiwi who is always ready to assist with a positive attitude. Over the decades, I’ve earned the nickname ‘Captain Lozza’, which has become part and parcel of who I am. With two decades under my belt navigating various ships across these waters, I’ve gained an in-depth knowledge of the Hauraki Gulf, ensuring our clientele always have an unforgettable sightseeing experience. My mentor, an experienced commercial and recreational fisherman, particularly in the Hauraki and Coromandel area, imparted immense wisdom to me. Like all age-old hunting crafts, the master imparts his skills to the apprentice, a role I played for many years. Alongside my mentor, I also learned from a multitude of seasoned fishermen. After receiving my SRL Skippers ticket last year, I’ve ascended to the rank of Master. I am well-versed in all things fishing and assure you an enjoyable time on board, doing my utmost to aid you in catching a memorable fish!
