- Daintree National Park - An idyllic and pleasant hike through ancient rainforest glades and the creekside gorge to a gorgeous waterfall in the Daintree World Heritage Area, where we can swim in this pristine untouched creek.
The Waterfall hike is a somewhat challenging two hour return, requiring reasonable fitness and good balance.
- Daintree Region - Then we enjoy a magnificent gourmet lunch at a hidden rainforest restaurant (included in price), with choices of steak, barramundi fish, kangaroo, chicken or vegetarian. And other dietary needs catered for.
- Daintree Region - For the afternoon, we embark on a solar powered Daintree River Crocodile and Wildlife spotting cruise. Get the chance to see the world’s largest crocodilian up close, and bring your camera for the wonderfull bird life on the estuary.

This Daintree experience is truly one-of-a-kind!
The tour takes place from roughly 8:30am to 4:30pm.
We’ve procured special permission to enter a secluded tropical fruit plantation in the Daintree Rainforest where we have the opportunity to trek into ancient undergrowth and take a dip under a hidden, unspoilt waterfall…
Following our serene stroll through lush forestry and alongside babbling brooks, we indulge in an exquisite gourmet lunch boasting choices like steak, barramundi fish, chicken, kangaroo and vegetarian options.
Then, we wrap up the day with a unique Daintree River boat excursion powered by solar, keeping an eye out for intriguing estuarine crocodiles and different forms of wildlife that call this World Heritage site home.

Got one day in the Daintree? - Our hotel recommended this tour as it is for small groups only and included exactly what we wanted - a "croc cruise" and some hiking with a dip to cool off. Allister was very entertaining and knowledgeable about FNQ. It was the perfect way to cover the Daintree in a day and learn a lot about what this incredible corner of the world has.

Unforgettable experience. - Had a lovely hike to the most incredible, refreshing waterfall. A beautiful tasty lunch and a chilled out croc safari by boat. Allister was a fabulous tour guide. Highly recommend this unforgettable tour.

Fantastic Rainforest Experience - An absolute fantastic day! Allister made it fun, interesting and informative. This is a small group tour and is perfect for the day.
We started on the Daintree river and saw 4 large saltwater crocs and a juvenile, stopped for an early lunch at a special spot in the jungle with the best food! Afternoon was a hike (which was a little challenging on a small narrow trail) thru private property to the most spectacular waterfall. This is the only tour permitted on the property and the only way to see this waterfall. Allister explained the flora & fauna of the rainforest during the hike which we found very informative.
We had a great day and enjoyed Allister company!

Amazing waterfall swim - Allister was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the rainforest. We had an amazing hike to a secluded waterfall for a swim. Pick-up time was spot on and the pace of the day was just right.

Allister was very... - Allister was very knowledgeable and flexible with whatever works best for the people on the tour. The location was very private for the hike. We loved every second of it! The catering company he uses for lunch is amazing. I usually have to bring my own food places because I’m celiac but they were very knowledgeable and provide safe food for this, so I had no worries.

Exceptional service in the Daintree - We had a great day out in the rainforest. Alister our guide was amazingly informative showing us lots of cool things in the bush. The trek up to the private waterfall is an easy hike but beautiful. We loved taking a dip and our daughter couldn’t get enough of the rope swing.
Lunch was good with the highlight learning about all the exotic fruits from around the world. We were lucky enough to taste a number of them.
On the river safari we were lucky enough to spot two female crocodiles. Even if we didn’t see any crocodiles we would have been happy as the trip on the water is therapeutic in the solar powered boat.
Great day out!! Highly recommend.

This is a highlight - don't miss it! - This day was one of the big highlights of our family holiday. We really enjoyed so many things about this experience. Firstly, Allister is a lovely, informative, thoughtful, fun guide who knew so much about the area and the Daintree. Secondly, it was special, good value and delivered for the whole family in all areas. The lunch with exotic fruits was really unique and the kids loved that we got to see so many crocodiles (close up!). I will definitely be recommending this to any friends coming up this way. Thanks Allister for a really fabulous day!

Amazing experience with knowledgeable and kindhearted guide - We spent two wonderful days touring with Allister. He is extremely knowledgeable about the geological history of Australia and the continent’s flora and fauna. He was very accommodating to our needs and patient when I wanted to stop and take photos. He is very attentive to his clients and looks out for their welfare. Allister made our experience in the Daintree exceptional and we were truly sad to part ways with him.

Beauty Valley Falls Full Day Tour - Had an amazing full day tour with Allister on the 29th of September 2023.
The tour began with an enjoyable but moderate 1hr hike to a breathtaking waterfall. As the hike was on private land, the best part was that we had the whole waterfall to ourselves.
Alastair was also great at explaining fascinating details about the fauna and flora, turning a simple hike into an educational and memorable experience.
Lunch was a highlight in itself, we had a variety of options between barramundi, kangaroo, steak, chicken and a vegetarian option. The restaurant also provided a range of exotic fruits and gave a detailed talk of each one.
The final part of the tour was a crocodile cruise on the Daintree river, where we saw 5 crocodiles on the 1 hour cruise.
Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend it to others.
