Spectacular - Amazing tour especially if you want to see a side of the rainbow mountain few experience. We were picked up from the hotel at 330 am and picked up another 10 guests or so and drove 1.5 hrs to breakfast in a super cute restaurant by a green blue river. As it is winter….it was cold at first. Food so so but lots of choices. Then we headed up the mountain on an unpacked road with certain sheer sections with hairpins and no barriers. Driver was excellent but you can’t help feeling apprehensive. Ok I had to shut my eyes. But then you get on the atv for about 1.5 hrs crossing two rivers and a few switchbacks with gorgeous views. Oddly that part was not scary. You have to pay two local access fees before getting to the parking lot. Don’t forget to acclimatize somewhere a few days beforehand. At the parking lot you can walk up another 49 mins where you will be totally winded before the summit OR you can pay 80 soles to have a guy drive you up and down to the top. That ride was stunning for the landscapes and enjoyed the great driving skills. At the top you will experience hard breathing but it’s manageable. You can take pictures at the hand overlooking the glacier for an extra fee but worth it. Then you can walk 100 meters or so to the main rainbow mountain viewpoint. You can also go up a hill to take pictures with lamas etc for a few soles. Then it’s time for motorcycle trip down (1 hr at the top) and atv back down to catch the bus to the same restaurant for a late lunch. Lots of starchy choices in the buffet plus meats, salads, all sorts of teas but water or sodas are extra. Got dropped off at the main square around 430. The views are really amazing. You also see a lot of llamas horses sheep etc. the guides are very attentive too and make sure you are in safe hands

Amazing tour - Actividad obligatoria en Cuzco. Paisajes, animales, deporte, experiencias varias y 5000 metros de altura, todo en 1 excursion. Beto nos ayudo con todo, es un excelente guía. Todo super puntual. recomiendo la actividad al 1000%. This tour is amazing, you have different experiences during the activity. Animals, views, quads and a beautiful hike, all in one trip. A MUST DO, MUST SEE - OMG, What a crazy fun experience. A must do. Starts with a early morning pick up. breakfast in town town where ATVS leave. Artero (rtd2) our guide noticed my fear as I never ATV'd and the roads are a bit interesting least to say. But was very thorough and assuring I would be OK. SO MUCH FUN!!!!!! The countryside alone was amazing with the people, llamas, sheep and and just the scenery. And then after 9 miles of riding we left our quads and begin a short but exhausting (17000 less oxygen) climb to the summit of Rainbow mountain. WOW,WOW,WOW truly spectacular, breathtaking( literally and figuratively ) I can't explain how beautiful , a must see. We then had a lovely dinner back at ate drop off site. Pictures do no justice for this amazing experience. Bring some candies or snacks for the local children, they are very happy and grateful. Highly recommend. Thank you Arturo??

ATV scenic ride to Rainbow Mountain - Atv was the perfect way to get us to rainbow mountain. The ride there is so scenic. All the alpacas you would want to see. There is an extra 25sol per person charge during the atv ride to go thru the private roads. Not sure if it was mentioned or I just forgot. The breakfast and lunch is plenty and good. Bring your own gloves as this is not provided. There is also an option for horse or motorcycle to take you up to rainbow if your not feeling up for it which is 60sol.
