Beautiful atlas mountain hike - Such a beautiful day in the Atlas Mountains away from the hustle and bustle of the city! A challenging hike of around 4 hours with a lunch break in between but you are rewarded with amazing views and food. Abdou was such a great guide - so knowledgeable and a Berber local. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Marrakech and I will be back to do a longer hike next time!

One day challenge trek - An amazing experience - beautiful scenery and an opportunity to learn first hand about Morocco’s mountain settlements. We had a super guide Abdul who was both extremely knowledgable about the Atlas Mountains and great at communicating in English. Thank you for a wonderful day - I would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to combine a physical challenge with natural beauty.

Action packed day tour! - Visited the Ourika valley & Atlas Mountains on a action packed day tour. This is the real Marrakech.... Our first stop was seeing a Berber family at their house. This was a great insight too see how they live & you feel very privileged considering what they have to do, to put food on the table. Had a great guide who introduced us & showed us round the house. Our second stop was the Ourika valley where we stopped & did a camel ride. Need to do this when visiting the area. The final stop was the Atlas Mountains where we hiked for two hours to see a number of waterfalls. Make sure you have the appropriate footwear as parts are very steep, we did see people go up in flip flops which is not ideal. You should be paying around max 200 dirham for your guide during this tour. Do not pay anymore than this. Had a meal after in the valley which was a great finish to a action packed day. Highly recommended!

Stunning Atlas Day Tour - Even though I had booked this day tour last minute, the organisation was perfect. Abdu is an amazing guide, funny and passionate! We discovered the beautiful Atlas mountains through a 3 hours hike, ate local food and met really sweet berber. This day away from crazy Marrakech definitely was the highlight of our trip! https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g293734-d8869957-r422585961-Toubkal_Voyages_Day_Tours-Marrakech_Marrakech_Tensift_El_Haouz_Region.html#

Amazing day in the Atlas Mountains - My wife and I went with Abdou to the mountains for a day. He was a great guide. Pick up was on time, and the drive to the mountains was about 90 minutes. Once there we walked up through several villages. Abdou is from the mountains and was able to tell us tons of information about the Berber people and their history in Morroco. We had a lovely lunch at a family's house surrounded by the mountains, then set out again on a loop hike which allowed us to see more of the terrain and goat and sheep herders. Abdou will go at your pace (slow or speedwalking) and make sure you are comfortable. This was the highlight of my week in Marakech and if you have the time I highly recommend you take advantage of Atlas a Day Tours.
